My keys work great. While at the store getting the last 2 keys cut, a person came up to me and asked me if the machine really works as well as it says it does. I told her that it did. I had made other keys from this machine and my keys worked in the locks from the last time I had keys cut from the machine. I told her, I recommend it. Shortly after I had left the area, I saw her making keys for what she needed too.

The machine was very easy to use, it was fast and the deigns were cute. The rating is because the key doesn’t work as well as the one copied, it seems thinner and you really have to put effort into pushing it in and turn it for it to work.

Whenever I’ve needed to duplicate a key, I’d put it in my wallet until my next trip to the home improvement store – a place I’d visit at least monthly. Well, between Amazon and aging, I haven’t had the need to shop there for, well over 2 yrs – that’s how long I’ve been walking around with this key in my wallet. So when I noticed your set up next to the service desk at the grocery store, I immediately remembered my wallet key. It was a piece of cake to operate, reasonably priced and most importantly – the duplicate was impeccable! Came out beautifully made and fits/opens the lock smooth as butter!

The last time I’d had a key copied, I think it cost $1.00 so you can imagine my response to being told Menard’s has a machine that copes keys by itself; all I had to do was inset the key (bumpy side up) in the machine, wait, and pay with a credit card.

Pretty slick and the key works perfectly!

I took in two key pad locks to have the override keys synched. They were done the next day and worked perfectly.
The person was considerate and explained when they were available and not. They do a lot of service calls but make the effort to be there at specific times.
