Ted came out on a late Saturday night. Very quick service to help get back into the apartment after leaving the key inside. I highly recommend Ted for your locksmith needs.

I made one key with the supposed upgrade to smooth it out and it didn’t work. I then had to come back to the same kiosk to make a new key the standard way and it did work at all either. I had to finally go to home depot and they were able to successfully make me a working key.

Well, it’s convenient at least. But they didn’t have the option for plain/normal keys on site, just four choices of different colors/patterns. So I guess we have polka dotted keys 🤷🏻‍♀️ the system was pretty easy to use, except that when I accidentally chose a pattern I didn’t want, I couldn’t get it out of my “cart” so I had to cancel the order and scan my key again.

Hugo was excellent, fast, and inexpensive to cut me new house keys. Also, he charges a little over a $100 or so for a FOB for your vehicle. It might vary but Dodge charged $900 ! Give this guy your business and save some money. Located in the same Plaza as 7-Eleven

I got 4 copies of keys total and I spent 2 minutes there at most. There was a person there to process the copy. The keys worked great when I went to test. I paid $16 for my 4 copies. I think that’s a great deal for the speed and quality.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with your machine. I had two keys made, and neither one of them worked when I brought them home and tried them what a Deadpool key and what a pet key. You really do need to make sure that your machines cut keys the right way Because I just wasted $16 I would take your company is not good

Worked fine. The key slot I little hard to push into. You offer a third key free however when you need two sets for two keys it’s seems silly to pay an extra $9.00 for the duplicate of the second key. Expensive to start with but ultimately I got what I needed

My truck was broken into at LAX and they destroyed my ignition cylinder. Ben came out to help me within 40 minutes at 7am, and even went out of his way to source the cylinder when he didn’t have the correct one. The pricing was reasonable and the service was great. I would use them again!

Update: After reaching out to KeyMe customer service about my experience, they reviewed the situation and reimbursed me $400. I still believe the initial $700 charge for a simple lockout was outrageous and predatory, but I appreciate that customer service followed up and took corrective action.

I’m updating my review to reflect this resolution, but I would still advise others to be cautious and explore other locksmith options first.

Initial Review: We just moved to Los Angeles and unfortunately had to use KeyMe for a simple lockout. The locksmith was in and out in a few minutes but charged me $700, completely dishonest and outrageous.

Find another locksmith and don’t panic if you’re ever in this situation, there are plenty of honest options out there.
