Steve was great! Nice person. He responded quickly to my request to make a replacement copy of a car key that I lost. He was professional, fast, and the cost was very reasonable. Highy recommended.

Jesse of Pacific Coast Lock and Safe was an enormous help when our key got stuck in the door knob of our front door.

Not only did he solve the problem quickly, but he went above and beyond by providing us new keys to our door at no charge.

Pretty disappointed after looking at the reviews and not getting the same quality of service most of the reviews reported. Had a bad experience with Swanson, so we called Albany lock & key to come out and fix an issue with the lock & knob for our business. They came out the same day to replaced our hardware and key it to our keys. Within a week we realized that we could not lock the knob lock from the outside, which wasn’t terrible since we also have the padlock. I called to tell them and they didn’t seem too concerned. At that time I also noticed that the “new” hardware had a crack in the shaft behind the outer knob and appeared used, we had expected that he installed new hardware prior to noticing that. Then a couple days later the door started sticking closed and wouldn’t open at all to allow customers in and out, so we called them back to fix it. They came out and got the door loose and said the issue was resolved. Within a week the door was sticking closed again, so we tried to call them back but they didn’t answer and didn’t return the call after leaving a voicemail. We ended up having to call a different maintenance person to get the door open again twice since we last tried to call and have been told that the hardware is worn out and will continue to stick. Leading us to believe it was in fact used hardware. I really hoped we’d have better luck with Albany lock and key based on other reviews but ended up disappointed. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to expect follow up on issues that may arise from services that your company provided.

Absolutely unbelievable service. I locked my keys in the car in a parking lot and saw the van parked nearby. I asked the driver if he unlocked cars and he said he did and got me in within 5 minutes of meeting him. Very reasonable price, friendly, I will call him first the next time something like this happens.

This place is outstanding. I came in with old and unusual tool box keys to have duplicated. The gentleman behind the counter was unbelievably patient and found the correct key blanks. The new keys worked great and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Swanson and Sons for all your locksmith needs.

This company sucks… We got locked out of the truck and we called them to request the service they suggested an ahead payment for the service and said they were gonna meet us in 30 minutes and we were waiting and waiting until I called them back and they said that they were not available… So you guys get paid for the service that we don’t even get?
Just be careful because you are going to be stuck forever… This is disappointing because they didn’t even communicated to us that they were not coming to fix the issue that we paid advanced… Terrible service
