He arrived within the time he said he would and got my truck unlocked, so I’ll give him credit for that.

However, the customer service was honestly one of the worst I’ve experienced. From the first phone call, he was very impatient and rude. When I asked for a few seconds to pull up my exact location, he immediately raised his voice and demanded the street again.

At one point he even threatened to open my vehicle before I arrived, which made me uncomfortable. When I told him I wasn’t okay with that, he became confrontational.

In person, he acted completely different like nothing happened. The job got done, but the way he spoke to me on the phone was extremely unprofessional. Just something to be aware of if you decide to use this service.

I’m not sure why I have to pay an extra 3 bucks for the key to work. It’s $2.99 for the better cut and I don’t care if it is nice and smooth it just needs to work. When we got the key my boyfriend said it looked jagged and I said all well. Got to his mom’s house to test they key and it won’t turn. I thought for a moment I grabbed the wrong key off of his keys (which meant we would be locked out) but I got the right one. So I wasted 9 bucks for a pretty key for when I pet sit.

Let me start by just stating that the key that was made worked perfectly and I have no issues with the product quality or the ease or time it took to have it done. That being said there were some drawbacks to the experience, first being that out of a large number of styles, there were only three that were available to have made immediately at the kiosk and the others all had to be mailed to me. The other concern was the price. Most styles started at $8.99 which is significantly more than any nearby hardware stores would have charged me, but when I saw the pricing and selected to cancel my order, it suddenly offered me around a 30% discount to continue with my transaction, which was nice, but also felt was a bit of a shady business practice as their prices could have just been lower to begin with. Anyone who doesn’t see the initial price and then cancel their order does not realize they can get the key made for a couple dollars cheaper. Overall a mediocre experience.

Absolutely 10/10 service.

I was in a tight spot and needed a key remade for my 2023 Toyota Camry at the last minute, and this guy truly came through. Despite traffic and time constraints, he showed up quickly and handled everything with professionalism, efficiency, and kindness.

Mr. Smith had blanks that I couldn’t find anywhere else within 30 miles, and the copies he made work better than the originals I gave him. He’s been in the business for 50 years and it shows. Very personable and enjoyable to deal with. Can’t recommend highly enough.
