I purchased these two 3” pvc caps for a small project around the house but ended up choosing a different style and never used these. I took the caps which were nearly $16.00 and the receipt into the store to return them but was told they would have a problem and immediately called the owner to the checkstand. The owner looked at the receipt and said sorry but this is past our return policy by a couple of months and we can’t take them back. I asked why there was such a short return window for basic stock items that sit on a shelf and are not perishable. The owner explained that those caps represent two years worth of that particular stock and somehow he would have to sit on them for years before he could move them again. We live in an agricultural and mining zone, I’m sure they go through boxes of that stuff. I was a weekly customer at this location, but no longer after a today. It seems like this owner has no problem taking my money week after week, but when I need to bring some very usable product back, he not only lied to me, but showed awful customer service by hiding behind a one-sided policy that not only doesn’t make sense, but is extremely wasteful; Now I have to throw them in the trash because I don’t have any other use for them. I would suggest driving to either Carson City or Wagners ace hardware in Hawthorne where you can get some real customer service and not taken advantage of.

Jake from Alpine Lock replaced an old lock and key with a keypad locking system on our front entry door. This was a complicated installation and Jake handled it with ease. Jake arrived on time and installed the upgrade with skill and professionalism. And it was $300 less than the original quote which was awesome! He also recommended High Sierra Custom Door to fix a weather stripping issue on the front door which was a high priority for us. Thank you Jake we love the new keypad on our front door it’s a real game changer!

My key in my car was able to slip out of the ignition while driving. I needed a new ignition in my car. After trying to contact one key and lock store and not getting an appointment time after explaining my issue I started looking for someone else. Came across this shop and all the reviews sounded great so I gave them a call. The next day my car was fixed quickly and at a fair price. The nice thing is I didn’t have to be without my car for the day. Very nice young men. Treated my kids nicely. And finished within 40 min. Everything works great. Would recommend.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Andy’s Lock & Key was fantastic! I needed 4 keys made for the compactor at work. Home Depot couldn’t help me and told me Andy’s was the best in town, and that they were! They made sure to match the key and make a tester and told me to check it and ensure it was a match on our compactor before making 3 more. Then when I came back they were super fast making the other 3. Their service is top notch friendly and they will forever be my locksmith

I also overheard them quote a customer for a new FOB for their vehicle and their price was very reasonable. They also have a huge variety of keys for sale.

Howell’s Lock & Safe seriously saved me. I came in with a broken aluminum key snapped off inside my lock, and Mike took his time and worked patiently until he got it out. He explained my lock is a higher-security type, so if it didn’t come out I’d be looking at replacing locks (and my apartment has multiple matching ones). Thankfully he got the piece out and made me new copies on steel blanks. Super helpful, honest, and friendly. PSA: aluminum keys look cool but snap way too easily.
