My husband and two daughters came up to Tahoe for a week from LA and halfway through our drive realized we didn’t have our Thule key for our snowboard storage box. I called Alpine Lock & Key which quoted me $45 but I would have to wait till tomorrow at 9am. It was around 11am when I called so I’m not sure why they couldn’t help me today but nonetheless I kept calling in hopes of better luck. I called Lightning which is a mobile service only and Dean quoted me $250. I decided to call Lake Tahoe Lockshop and Mike said to come on over and he could do it for $30. We get there and didn’t have the N number he needed to figure out which key he had to make so we went to eat sushi while I sent my mom over to my house to look for the missing key. By the time we were done eating mike had taken it upon himself to test out the keys he had and found the right one. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience due to the initiative Mike took in helping us in our stressful predicament. Thank you Mike for your wonderful service 10/10 would recommend this shop!
