I called up to see if I could get some help changing door hardware and to change the locks on a home and Dan was great. He was responsive, knowledgeable and the work was done quickly and effectively. I would definitely use him again in the future if similar work was needed.

Fantastic work. We lost our only key to our one vehicle, completely. GM wanted a fortune and would need us to tow the vehicle there. Ben’s Lock & Key did their work at our home for a fraction of the price. Brand new key and programmed to our vehicle. The technician, Tengiz, was very nice and professional and worked very quickly and ensured multiple times that our new key works properly. I highly recommend. 5 out of 5 stars. Excellent and quick service. I called at 10am and Nick texted 10 minutes before arriving about 20 minutes early. He was able to replace a broken deadbolt on an oversized exterior door. It took longer than a standard door because of the thickness but he was still done in less than an hour including re-keying the lock. Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Highly recommend.

I called at 820 to get an appointment Joe gave the impression he would be about an hour or 2 before he would be able to help. We paid 20k for hurricane doors & 500 dollar lock sets. Buyer beware all 3 of my sets installed incorrectly.
After just a few months one set was not operational it had gotten harder & harder to move the handle.
Joe arrived as a professional found and demonstrated the proper install.
After correcting 1 French door he asked should he check the front door. Yep it was incorrect as well. Lastly one more door incorrectly installed. After spending 40k for windows & doors you would could expect a professional installation.
Back to A1 they are great professional, affordable and timely.
As a homeowner I almost ruined 2k in lock sets by not having a professional installation.
I messed the first most important clue when the window installer’s tried & passed the instructions up the chain.
It’s your money be aware…

Great speedy service
Walked in on a Thu/Fri to order another key fob as a preemptive measure for only having 1. They called me Monday that it was ready and had it programmed on Tuesday only because I wasn’t able to get to them sooner.
If not I think their service aas quick and efficient. Great customer service. Got a padlock key 🔐 done also and it worked. I’m so happy.

Scam. Asked for a service request – key fob for 2013 Explorer. Was told $35 to show up + labor starting at 185/hr. I asked how much for the job? Guy wouldn’t answer and kept repeating the minimums. Called around and locksmiths are quoting between 185 to 250 to show up and make a key. Tried to call this guy because he is down the street. Wouldn’t give me a ballpark figure. I don’t need someone showing up quoting me 500+ and then when I say no thank you they demand the labor + service call. Nah I’m good. Be warned.

The machine/company wanted $2.99 after the$5.99 key charge to give you a quality cut I had to scrap the extra metal shavings off all 3 of my keys. And I am having trouble getting the lock to work using the new keys. The machine should have a metal brush in it to clean the key before sending it to the client. Not happy to pay for shotty work.

I tried to get a padlock key made from Lowes, Home Depot & Ace Hardware, they could not provide a blank to make the key. I figured I’d give your kiosk a try. I was amazed it cut the key & it worked perfectly.

I wish I could put 0 stars.

1. They canceled my service without telling me, 1 and a half hours after they had told me someone was coming.

2. The operators would refuse to talk to me, and would transfer me to another line, where I would enter a zip code and the voice back would say “no available technicians” when I had just been told someone was coming to help me.

My dog and I stood out in 90 degree heat for two hours and I worried she would get heat stroke. I called J&B Locksmith and he had me in my house in 5 minutes after I waited two hours. For no reason btw! Since they had canceled my service 🙂
