I am a new homeowner and was looking for a new mechanical combination lock for my front door, and purchased from Taylor Security and Lock

Edit: The store has a good selection of products, but it can be confusing to know the difference between identical-looking products. I initially ordered the wrong one, then ordered the correct one and sent back the old one. At first, I was told the return could not be accepted, but eventually they refunded me for the first product I had ordered by mistake.

Five stars is not enough! First off I must say that the friendly and knowledgeable service I received was outstanding. While I was at the store, multiple people came in for one reason or another and all left with smiles on their faces. I was able to get my two key fobs programmed, which was done quickly and accurately, and for a great price. I’ll definitely be back.

Easy in and easy out parking in the congested Closter area is very welcome. Parked in their lot, brought in my problem lock to be re-keyed, they diagnosed, replaced and sent me with all the hardware to install myself. $68 out the door with a new slag system ready to install. Absolutely no downtime at the Hairsalon we own… gave him a 50 and a 20 and told them to keep the change. Thanks J&B

I placed an order on November 26, 2022, at 11:16am, for four doorknobs listed on their site as “same-day shipping on orders placed before 3pm”. I emailed a few days later to discern their whereabouts since Taylor Security / Craftmaster Hardware, LLC., is in Northvale, NJ, and I’m in Brooklyn, NY. Sales Development Associate John informed me they needed a 3-4 week lead time, despite their web site boasting sam-day shipping. On 12/12, I reached out to follow-up on the order and the response I received was: “It shows 12/16 as the expected ship date” without any clarification or empathy. on 12/19, I reached out to follow-up on the order again and the response was that the shipping date changed to 12/29. On 12/29 I requested a tracking number, but received no response. On January 2, 2023, I re-requested the tracking number and received the cold reply: “It now shows 1/10, when it does ship you’ll be emailed the tracking number.”

I still have not receive the four door knobs I ordered last year.
