First time I’ve used this machine. Made 10 keys for my new front door. Took roughly 20 minutes to make all the keys. System didn’t tell me about the 3 free brass keys until after I paid. I really only needed 7 keys. I thought I HAD to pick one of the first set of keys @ $5 per key. I paid $37+ for my keys. When I got home with them I found that NONE of the 10 keys worked. I was not happy. Went back to Lowe’s return dept. Ended up getting a store credit. I was told they have a key station where a person makes them for you. Didn’t know that. Went that route and all THOSE keys worked just fine. I was told many customers have complained about the machine. I’ll never use it again. Hope they remove it from the store. The only reason you got 1 star is because I had to give you at these 1 star to be able to post my review. Frankly, this was a ZERO star performance.

I recently moved into my new home & wanted 1 key for all of my locks including the front storm door (I was not given a key for the rear door and front storm door at closing).
I was referred to Mr. Keys from my home contractor.
Great referral!
First, I called the office and spoke with Crystal, who was extremely helpful with every contact I had with her. She had given me a lot of info over the phone & through email. It was suggested that I come into the store and speak with the owner, Mark.
Mark, the owner & is extremely knowledgeable about his profession!!…something that I never really gave much thought to & WOW, he taught me a lot about security which is something we all need to consider & know now a days!!!)
He asked me lots of questions about where I live & type of locks/security that I require for my location. Also discussed about not just converting the locks to just using one key but possibly changing all the hardware/locks that I never even considered. He asked me to send him pictures of both doors, including front and rear doors. After sending him the pictures, Mark made me realized that neither the top or bottom locks on both front & rear doors were 4 different pieces of hardware & metals..Ugh!!!!!
I had been having lots of work done in my new home and never paid attention to the detail until Mark brought it to my attention.
Devon (technician) was sent to my new home to measure my locks on the doors and assisted in ordering the new hardware & installing.
I posted pics in my review.
Devon was on time w/ his 2 visits to my home, professional, courteous & quick to order & install my new hardware/ locks on both front & rear entrances & made 1 key for all locks including my front storm door.
I am very pleased & highly recommend Mr. Keys & their professionally trained staff for your security needs!
