My car key randomly snapped one evening after an 8 hour shift at work. I had to use a wrench to drive my car, and was not particularly comfortable with the situation. My Dad wanted to help, so he did some research and found this location near Danville, VA. I called, and was kindly greeted and promptly given an appointment. At the appointment, the locksmith realized that they’d have to order the stub for my key since it was for an older Volkswagen vehicle. He ordered the part and got me in less than a week later for the final rekeying / fix. It works great, didn’t cost too much, and everyone I met was incredibly kind.

The Repair Guy, Mike Harbour, Was Extremely polite & efficient with his time on repairing my multi-point deadbolt door. He was very patient with me as I asked a lot of questions even after the door was repaired & I was very happy with how fast He was able to do the job & still be patient with me & polite & professional all at the same time. If you ever have any problems with any of your doors, don’t fool with any of the rest. We contacted Southern Smart Security today and the technician, Alan came out within the hour. He took care of a locking mechanism issue with a safe and also made me a set of keys for my car, while he was there. Alan was very polite and professional. He is definitely the man to call!

Excellent same-day support! It helped by being able to dis-assemble the doorknob and latch and take that to the shop. Emily quickly found an identical replacement for the our broken latch. The doorknob assembly re-installed perfectly. Hoping this replacement latch will have same long life that might just outlive me! Many thanks for the excellent service!

Key wouldn’t start vehicle after I programmed it. It locks and unlocks the vehicle. Key turns ignition and won’t start. I asked to have it checked and all I got was “Your not making any sense, if it turns the ignition it works.” He was very disrespectful. I agree it should work, could be a faulty key. However, he argued with me for a while. Horrible customer service.
