I can’t say enough great things about Coastal Locks of Havelock, New Bern, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. From start to finish, the experience was professional, timely, and stress-free. Aaron was an absolute standout. His knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly exemplary.

I had a scenario where I lost my whole car key while visiting Dillon. I found this place and was saved. They have friendly and professional people like James (the tech that helped me.) They communicate effectively and we’re fast about everything they did. Considering the pickle I put myself in, I found them very affordable and they can come to you if need be. We had a great experience with Complete Lock and Key. Alex came out to rekey the home we just bought and was incredibly fast, professional, and kind. I expected it to take a while, but he finished the whole job in the time I thought it would take to do one door!

He also made us a new mailbox key, and when the first one didn’t work, he and the team at the shop took care of it right away—no hassle and no extra charge. The service was affordable, and the customer care was top notch. Highly recommend.

Went into Lowes to make copies of three keys. The machine made one, rejected one for some reason and made the third one with the wrong key stock so that when I got home and tried it it wouldn’t work. Brought it back to Lowes and they said I had to somehow work it with the company. They took no responsibility. I understand their point but there doesn’t seem to be a simple way to do that. So I’m writing this review.

Used the awesome little machine that creates a key at my local Lowe’s. Have been desperately needing to get another house key made and did they “buy 2 get a 3rd free” deal. We have successful used all 3 keys with zero problems. The whole process of making all 3 keys took less than 10 minutes at the machine. I got 3 different colored keys but they also had several designs to choose from as well. Very satisfied. Much easier then dealing with standing in line and waiting to get a key made. You can also get a digital key sent to your phone for those that have fancy houses and such. Highly recommend.

I didn’t even get as far as them coming out and if I could give a negative review I would! I called a locksmith that was at my house and it was going to be a lot more expensive than I thought so I called Aaaron Elliott. They told me to use who was there and wouldn’t come out because he didn’t like that I’d called someone and was now calling them. I would be paying the person already there a service fee almost as expensive as the AE work. I told him I would be paying them and asked why it mattered to him and he just said ok so I hung up. Do not use them.

Edit: I saw your response and what you said is absolutely untrue. No one told me they were putting me on hold to check on a technician. What I originally described is what happened! What the person at Aaron Elliott said was that he didn’t like that I was “shopping around” when someone was at my house. I was willing to pay that company’s service fee and then pay your company, which both of those things were cheaper than who was already at my house. Because of the rudeness and audacity your company had to tell me how to use my money and treat other vendors, I would NEVER use you and until today I knew you had a good reputation. I’ve already told multiple people about what happened and hope you think about how you’re treating potential customers in the future.

Edit 2: if you were the one that answered the phone then you and I both know that what you’re saying did not happen. You are playing victim to get others to feel bad for you. I myself have been taken advantage of many times with businesses and I’m tired of it. My family has also owned their own business for 30+ years so I know it from that side too. It’s not that I’m “unhappy”, you are not admitting what happened because you don’t want a bad review. I understand that but at least be honest about what happened.
