There are not many companies today that provide that genuine, “down-home” feeling, but Keever’s has it in spades. I needed to repair my parents’ van ignition and received an obscene quote from the dealership. Keever’s not only came to my parents’ home once, but twice when they needed to program the keys at their store. Once the job was complete and I received the bill, it was actually lower than the original estimate I was quoted. They are professional, kind, and considerate. And they treat customers the way all companies should, but so rarely do. I wish nothing but the best for this business!

Very prompt service. Was to my residence in less than 30 minutes. Worked diligently to replace old lock and then put in new one. Very satisfied with my experience!

By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Multiple calls with run arounds and no answers. If you ever need a key made. Never use this service. You’re better off calling Keever’s or Poteat’s. I’d give them zero stars if I was allowed to. Please don’t waste your time like I did.

Using the key making machine was pretty easy, but a little slower than I would have expected. You also have to be careful and have exact amount or put small purchases on a credit card. It would be nice to have some colored keys other than the fancy ones with team logos, etc. I was making keys for multiple facilities on our campus and it would have been nice to use different colors to represent different buildings.

Paid $8 for a key and got home it didn’t even work on the lock so I had to go to Lowe’s and have them cut me one for $4 that actually did work. My dad said he tried to make a copy of a key here before too and it didn’t work.

I had 3 house keys made 3-1-2026 . 2 of them were brass and worked great. 1 was a Carolina Panthers key and it doesn’t work. It’s made of cheap and lightweight aluminum. I don’t recommend getting those.

The first time I came into the store to have keys made, he pointed at the machine. I then turned around and walked away.
I came back about a week later and thought I’d give it a try. It was very simple, the screen talk to you through every step. The keys I picked are brass- a high-quality, long, lasting key. It only took a few minutes to make three keys, and I got the third key for free. I then went to try all the keys out on the door locks and every one of them worked very nicely.
The machine does a good job, and I didn’t have to stand in line or wait for a service person!
