After striking out in my county on a Saturday..I gave Gibsons a call and explained what was going on and what I needed. When I got there the locksmith got right on the problem. He made my new key fit as if it was the original key. The prices were definitely better than the dealership. Best service I’ve had from a business in a long while.

Do NOT use this service for a car lock out. Before trying to dispatch anyone, they will send you a shady-looking form asking for your credit card information along with pictures of your ID and credit card. Then different people will call you with different ETAs, all increasingly long. I’ve waited nearly 2 hours just to get a call from a NEW person/number saying they’ll be here in 45 minutes despite someone else calling me 30 minutes ago saying they’d be here in 20 minutes. At this point I’m thinking I may have been scammed.

We needed an old doorknob/lock changed out and I looked for companies on BBB and found AL Odom Locksmiths very highly rated. I called and left a contact request online and they reached right back out to me, we got it scheduled within an hour, they confirmed, communicated prior to coming out, they were professional and did a fantastic job. We requested multiple keys and they were able to fulfill that request last minute. We were out of town at the time, and they worked with us to take payment over the phone after completion. They made an uncomfortable, scary situation – easy. They even looked at another door that was giving us problems and were able to adjust the lock so that it worked again. Highly recommend and will use again.

I locked my keys in the car at the gym this morning. I was panicked, cold, running late and the guy that came out really saved the day. I had called a few other places that were going to take hours and refused to tell me a price on the phone. This gentleman told me he would be there in 15 minutes and told me exactly how much it would be. He showed up right on time, quickly unlocked my car and was extremely nice and professional. Thank you so much for turning my day around!

I called them on a Saturday. They talked me through how to get my key to work so I could drive to their location (since I was 20mi away and he did not want to have to charge me that fee, if I could make it to them!). My key was worn out, wouldn’t unlock my doors or start my car. They provided me service, on their day off, allowing me to come to them (which isn’t typical). Once there, they cut me a key, gave me the codes to my car and updated me from a plain key to one with door unlock buttons and trunk/alarm. Charged me much less than the hardware store was going to and had me going in no time! I am very pleased with their service! I definitely recommend!!

Alex H was a great help re-keying our home. We have a garage apartment and he set the keys up in a way that allows all keys to access the apartment, but made keys that ONLY access the apartment and not the house. He even came back out and fixed our smart lock that was glitching the day after at no charge. Great service. I would highly recommend.

24 hour emergency service line is a joke. I called them after locking my keys in the car with the car still running, they said to give the tech 15-20 minutes to reach out to me. I called them back after 35 minutes and let them I hadn’t heard anything and the woman said the tech was in transit, but she’d ask him to call me. After 3 hours I never heard anything and got help from a much better company. I called Minute Key again to cancel my order, they said it had already been cancelled. I waited over 3 HOURS for help with my car STILL RUNNING and they decided to cancel my inquiry without so much as a call.
