I had a great experience yesterday at Apex Lock and Key. I needed two key fob replacements cut and programmed for a vehicle with only one key. They laser cut my keys, then programmed them, all in about 15 minutes. The store was clean, well organized, and had comfortable seating while I waited. I was offered a bottle of water while I waited, which I did not expect. In chatting with the store manager, he learned that I was an Army veteran and gave me a military discount. My new keys work perfectly, and I saved more than 80 percent off of what the Chevy dealer wanted to cut and program the keys. All in all, I had an outstanding experience and offer my highest recommendation for Apex Lock and Key.

I made an appointment with APEX Lock and Key. Not knowing Cary Lock and Key was affiliated, I called them to verify the cost I had been provided was reasonable. Since they were affiliated they knew about my existing appointment and said they were canceling it and would not schedule an appointment with me. I understand their reasoning but it seems to me that they have a way to charge excessive rates and have trying to keep a monopoly on the market.

Needed additional house keys, went to Lowes to have them made. While they do have a person to do this, they also had this machine. ( It looks like a lime green ATM). Very easy to follow instructions, good selection of unique key options in addition to standard brass. Easy payment methods. Fair pricing. New keys within minutes.

Went it to Kohls to use the kiosk, because I needed 3 copies of a key. I bought two and received the third key free!!! Love it. I tested all three when I got home, worked smoothly! Thank you guys!
