A simple rekeying of a new home (online estimated to be 1 to 2 hours) took close to 6 hours with the locksmith needing to take multiple trips to the store. When installed incorrectly they charged for someone to come out and fix their mistake. Fees are also above average based on searches. This company is a total scam and it would have been more affordable and quicker to try it on our own.

Super easy interface at the kiosk even if you’ve never cut keys before. All 4 of the ordered keys were perfect. Smooth no real burring right out of the machine. I also had 2 shipped to home and the order was received within a week of cutting the others at the location.
All keys work perfectly in their locks.

Key made appeared to be identical to the original. However, it would not turn the lock. Upon further detailed inspection, the 2 highest points on the template key are slightly higher than the duplicate made in the machine. Off by a millimeter must make a difference. KeyMe refunded me without delay, so I gave them 3-stars.

Update (One Month Later):

I originally left a five star review because the service during the initial visit was excellent. Unfortunately, the key that was created for my car stopped working about two weeks later. It no longer locks or unlocks my doors automatically.

I reached out to the company several times and was told the technician would call me back. After multiple attempts, I finally connected with him and was told it would be a $95 charge to reset a key that had just been created. I requested to speak with a manager because I did not feel I should be charged again so soon for an issue with the same key.

It has now been over a month with no return call and no resolution, even though I spent over $500 total in services within this same time period. The original issue with my key remains unresolved.

I’m updating my review so future customers have a full picture of my experience. I’m still open to a resolution if the company reaches out.

I called a few days ago and spoke with Bryan about a new battery. He was polite and took the time to answer all of my questions. Today I walked in and was greeted by Patrick. I told him I needed a battery, and he quoted the same price I was given over the phone. He had me pull into the garage, tested my current battery, confirmed it was low, and replaced it. Just got charged $275 + tip for a locksmith to come out and pop a door open in our office. It took him less than 3 minutes from the time he walked in the door to open it. When we called to discuss why it cost so much they tried to tell us the locksmith sets their own prices but when we informed her the locksmith told us he had to call into his office to figure out what they were going to charge she hung up on me. A few minutes later they called back from a different number and asked for a review but only wanted to know what we were charged then immediately hung up on me again.
