I bought a car and had a bad experience. Shopped for window tint and wasn’t pleased with that. Needed a key fob for the new car. Wasn’t excited about searching for a lock smith. I called a few places and wasn’t happy. Then I called A Complete lock & key. They answered quickly, gave me a quote. They were a little farther away than I wanted to go. So I went anyway. I walked in told them what I was there for. The guy said something like you called earlier. I don’t know how he knew that. I gave him my key, he grabbed a computer thingie and went right out to my car. There was an issues with that computer and he had to wait a few minutes for someone to bring him the correct computer. He got right back on it. 5 minutes later he came in and said you’re done. I paid the exact price I was quoted. 15 minutes in and out. This made my day. If I were you I wouldn’t go any place but A Complete Lock and Key.

With locksmithing being the next big thing for scammers it was great to speak with a real person it St Louis who was courteous, professional and got me a quote and was on site under an hour.

Gave reasonable rates for work, and when he got here he realized that all I needed was a new battery and not an entire key replacement. Offered to pay him for his time since I felt I wasted his time and he refused to take any payment and was just happy to help.

I wish nothing but the best for him and his business.

Absolute 5 star service.

I lost my keys yesterday, and I was struggling to find anyone that would make me a key for less than 150.

My key was just a regular old key, no electronics, transponder, nothing, just a metal key.

Every single mobile locksmith tried to charge me more than 100 bucks for a SINGULAR METAL KEY.

I come to this place, 2 keys and a magnetic key box for less than 40 bucks. I don’t think Ill ever be going to anywhere else for keys from now on.

I drove to several small hardware stores looking for the correct parts for my antique door handles & though they had some “universal” that were close they didn’t work. Found Krause and wish I had gone there first! Late afternoon walk-in. I could see they were busy but all were helpful anyway. I asked Steven to help me understand how the handle parts work. He explained really well, showed me examples, made a simple fix (for them) and got my door handle working great again. If I need help with antique or any locks in the future I will head straight to Krause.

Had a tremendous experience there earlier this week. I was working on fixing a door handle/lock and just could not find the right type of screw for it at hardware stores. I went in to explain the problem and Shawn was able to diagnose the issue right away then provided me a screw and hex wrench at no cost! I appreciate the level of customer service despite not even making a sale.

I had a ridiculous experience with this locksmith company after using them for a few years. The locksmith was pleasant enough when he came but I had 3 locks to rekey on a duplex. One was done correctly, but for the remaining two doors the locksmith proceeded to put two locks on one door (???) and neglected the third altogether — despite passing through the door that had no knob or lock on it.

I called to explain the situation and the guy on the phone was immensely rude and neglected to offer to correct their mistake. They claimed they “dont usually even do residential locksmith work” (despite having used them before and their website stating they provide residential service”) but “did it as a favor.”

You, dear reader, can do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

We heard about this online, and had to come check it out and I’m so glad we did. Great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Small venue, but that’s part of the charm. Love the decor, lots to look at, and it gives the place a fantastic vibe. Drink selection is a little bit limited, but good options including non-alcoholic.
We even got to meet the owner, go check it out for yourself!
