We were locked out of our vehicle on New Year’s Eve and thought there was no quick way to get it resolved. Boy, were we wrong! Jeff was very professional and on time. He had to work a little extra as it was an older ignition that had been previously resmithed. Never once hesitated to share his knowledge, was extremely polite, kept his cool and a great sense of humor. Quote I received on the phone was the price I paid upon completion. I have locked myself out of my apartment several times and they have always been the ones for me to call. They are friendly and have not judged me (I know I deserve to be judged for my forgetfullness). They always show up quickly and have always been kind. The key fits and unlocks the lock perfectly , the experience was novel after fifty years of hardware store keys .
The touch screen required a definite touch , a light swipe wasn’t enough to continue but that may be a positive thing, a tentative tap isn’t commitment.
The directions were straightforward and clear , the process was simple .

5 stars, no doubt about it.
I was stuck in a super frustrating situation where the ignition in my car wouldn’t let the key turn, despite trying everything, so I was basically stranded. I called a car repair shop and they immediately referred me to Precision Lock & Key, and now I’m not at all surprised why they did.
Mitch fit me in with his schedule well, explained what needed to be fixed and my options for the specific part I needed. Got it all fixed and now I have my car back 🙂
I will definitely be calling Mitch if I ever have any lock problems again, he’s a lifesaver.

Charles came to us in a jiffy, less than an hour. He was very knowledgable and professional and just an all around kind man. He addressed all our needs and gave us choices. I would highly recommend Schaefer Locks. They are great!

The professionals at 417 Keys programmed three key fobs (all from different sources), and cut a key, in less than a half hour, and in the most relaxed and educational (they even take you to your car and double-check that all are working correctly) manner possible. I walked in with the stress and tension that you take to a car dealership visit and left completely relaxed and happy that some businesses still operate so effeciently and kindly. Highly recommend!!

just wanted to make sure all who will read this review that this company will charge $285 when they quote over the phone $135. then the guy called someone and started laughing about it. never again, sucks this happened when i just moved here. to abuse someone in a helpless situation and take advantage is just horrible. i will never suggest this company for anything. hope they do not get work by word of mouth. i am about to tell the veteran community about their underhandedness. shame on y’all!

I bent the key to my vehicle’s rooftop carrier real bad. I showed up to this locksmith shop without an appointment. I was helped right away. They made two copies of this key for under $9. The quote I received for my car key was pretty high
