Two days ago, I had locked my keys in my car at a job site. How embarrassing! I contacted Dave and had a great experience. Dave explained to me that he had never unlocked my type of car. He arrived within 15 minutes of my call. Even though, he did not have experience of unlocking my car, he got it open in UNDER 15 minutes. He was kind about it and a good positive attitude. He kept me on my schedule. Thanks Dave! Keep up the good work!

I had a key break off in the ignition of an obscure Chinese motorcycle.
I was recommended The Lock Doctor by a motorcycle shop, and I could not be happier!
They got the key out and were able to make me a new key using the remaining fragments.
Great and fast service, great prices, and very friendly employees.

Sad day today. I’ve done business with this facility for nearly a decade with zero problems. Today changed all that due to the disrespectful lying owner of this company. Cost my company money the customer time and aggravation and the owner just says he’s right and hangs up. Came to my shop to cut and program a key for a ford f150. Stated it programmed fine. Truck had a code for the transponder module signal not found. After taking this jokes word for the truth we moved past an issue with the transponder module as it was communicating to allow the key to be programmed. Tested and tested as nothing made sense except a faulty pcm because again this “locksmith” stated the key programmed without a problem. Installed new pcm, programmed fine, keys however won’t program. And again, a code for the transponder module signal not showing up. Started from scratch and found the transponder module internally corroded and shorted. Would’ve never let a key be programmed. Now I’m out $700 on a non returnable pcm and the cost of the “locksmith” because of a flat lie. When questioned “owner” stated I needed to listen, I did, he refused to listen then hung up. Now just states he won’t service anymore vehicles for us. “Not really a big deal as we don’t deal with liars and crooks” and he won’t refund the programming or the cost of the key. See the pictures? It’s obvious I’m lying. Now I have to go to war for a customer that was dupped by what I thought was a stand up business. The guy inside, absolutely great I wish this hadn’t happened. Stated himself the owners like this but he signs his paycheck. Dude up front said when he texted the owner that the owner would just yell at him. Did the best he could. Deserves a better employer who isn’t trash. Maybe he can come work for me. Regardless the guy is rude as can be if you bark back with his disrespectful attitude, and he lies when he can’t do something vs just saying it couldn’t be done. As he said, “have a nice day”. We will, and I assure you we will let everyone know the type of business you do.
UPDATE: After installing the pictured security antenna allowing the keys to be programmed the truck fired right up. Further proving the flat lies this owner spewed. I’m sure the business will be fine and survive as he prays on people who can’t afford the higher priced people who will actually back their work and not lie. Trash business practices. I assure you I WAS a REAL customer. 10k plus dollars spent here. Never again.
Second update: It’s increasingly funny to us as we watch the way this business owner responds with any words that he doesn’t like. Insults other races, insults other people’s country. And yet people will still use him because it’s a poverty stricken area and he’s cheaper than the others. Yet when faced with technical data he can do nothing. Keep attacking people through the internet and phone. One day you’ll learn. Smdh

The key duplication was completed in an efficient way while preserving a high level of quality, and he was able to come timely and complete the task. He had an extraordinary amount of kindness, and he was a delight to be around. My sincere gratitude goes out to you!

I arrived at our condo at the lake last night to find that our electronic deadbolts battery was dead. I had no key. That has since been remedied. A quick search on my phone found Skelton Key & Lock. I made the call and spoke with Dave. He was immediately on it. Within half an hour, Drew arrives. Fifteen minutes later I am in my condo. This was all after hours on New Years Day. I am very pleased with their prompt courteous service. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone. Skelton’s Key and Lock is a new contact in my phone.
