A remarkably clever and easy transaction.
I wanted 2 copies of my house key and got 3 for the price of 2, and very low price. The process was transparent and quick, with hardly any noise. So smooth it is hard to believe it could be any easier.

Update (One Month Later):

I originally left a five star review because the service during the initial visit was excellent. Unfortunately, the key that was created for my car stopped working about two weeks later. It no longer locks or unlocks my doors automatically.

I reached out to the company several times and was told the technician would call me back. After multiple attempts, I finally connected with him and was told it would be a $95 charge to reset a key that had just been created. I requested to speak with a manager because I did not feel I should be charged again so soon for an issue with the same key.

It has now been over a month with no return call and no resolution, even though I spent over $500 total in services within this same time period. The original issue with my key remains unresolved.

I’m updating my review so future customers have a full picture of my experience. I’m still open to a resolution if the company reaches out.

Oscar at Master Key Locksmith is the best locksmith I’ve ever worked with. My car’s ignition locked up, and I accidentally broke the key inside. Instead of paying for a tow, Oscar came directly to me, which was so convenient. He made a new car key on the spot and explained what was going on with the ignition and steering lock.

A few days later, when the issue happened again, I called him back. Oscar came right away, replaced the steering ignition parts, and made sure everything was working perfectly. Master Locksmith SoCo arrived in less than 30 minutes after I unintentionally locked myself out of my residence at 9 PM! Mike, the technician, was quite amiable and managed to get me back inside without breaking my lock. Unlike other locksmiths, they didn’t try to upsell me, and their prices were reasonable. A huge relief! I will definitely give them another call if I ever need assistance.

I picked out 2 keys. One with a Home and one with a Kitty. The system then offered me a third, free key, in some “buy 2 get 1” deal. So I added the free key (plain brass).

The system then made *2* plain brass keys, the Home key I wanted, and then spits out some random sports team key. Not only is this not a key design I picked out, it doesn’t even match the other keys. I basically received someone else’s key.

It charged me $3 for the “free” key that it made two of and charged me $4 for the Kitty key that I did not receive. I basically paid a bunch of money to get only ONE key that I originally wanted (the “Home” key).

They advertise “100% Satisfaction” on their site, so I contacted them with my issue. I’ve never heard back from them about my keys, but I’ve received multiple emails asking me to review their company. So here’s my review. Their system sucks and their support is non-existent. Buyer beware.

Serious company. The technician Russ is great. Pricey but quality work. And good service and they stand by their work. There was a glitch with a lock repair and they came out and fixed everything to perfection. No additional charge. Good company that we’ve used over the past several years. Good people.

I had a rekey done on my new home. The technician that was sent was amazing. I didn’t catch his name but he was so nice and helped me out and went above and beyond. He did everything surprisingly fast and made everything easy even when it was super cold outside. Very good experience

I arrived at our condo at the lake last night to find that our electronic deadbolts battery was dead. I had no key. That has since been remedied. A quick search on my phone found Skelton Key & Lock.
