I found A2Z by accident. I needed an old lock re-keyed, but I didn’t have the original key. I called a local Kirksville locksmith who said, “I can’t help you, but there’s someone down near Macon who can do that kind of work.” He gave me Rick’s number.

Rick is a true pro. Not only did he rekey the lock, but he explained the whole process very clearly and taught me a great deal about keys and locks. It was a great conversation, and there’s something so cool about watching a highly skilled person work. I definitely have a locksmith now. Highly recommended!

I bought a car and had a bad experience. Shopped for window tint and wasn’t pleased with that. Needed a key fob for the new car. Wasn’t excited about searching for a lock smith. I called a few places and wasn’t happy. Then I called A Complete lock & key. They answered quickly, gave me a quote. They were a little farther away than I wanted to go. So I went anyway. I walked in told them what I was there for. The guy said something like you called earlier. I don’t know how he knew that. I gave him my key, he grabbed a computer thingie and went right out to my car. There was an issues with that computer and he had to wait a few minutes for someone to bring him the correct computer. He got right back on it. 5 minutes later he came in and said you’re done. I paid the exact price I was quoted. 15 minutes in and out. This made my day. If I were you I wouldn’t go any place but A Complete Lock and Key.

I used the rekeying to make a house key. It’s the first time I tried it. It was super fast and easy! I will definitely use it again.

Went in to get a couple spare keys made for my Peterbilt. Jokingly, he said $500, so I jokingly said, “Well at that price, I’ll take 10!” and then told him I was just kidding and really only needed 3. Apparently, the 10 stuck and he was hard at work making a pile of keys. He asked why I needed so many, and when I said they were just for the office and mechanic, his eyes got as big as a McDonald’s large cup. That’s when he realized I only needed 3…. not 10. We all had a good laugh and both apologized several times, he gave me a discount, and now were the proud owner of 5 spare keys for truck!! Great service, great guy, and a sense of humor to match.

We used this company to put smart locks on our cabins and also to make keys for locks that we did not have. They were very polite, respectful and wanted to do the job perfectly.. They did not want to leave until we were completely satisfied. They did a great job we would recommend them.
