Charlie was great! We drove almost 5 hours to visit our cabin for the holiday weekend and forgot our keys. We had 4 kids and 2 dogs with us, so leaving keys at home was not the ideal situation. She came out quickly and for a reasonable price.

I bought an older home that didn’t come with keys and I couldn’t bring myself to throw out the beautiful detailed hardware. I pulled several of the deadbolts and knobs off, took them to Loyd and he decided them and made me a set of keys for just pennies of what it would have cost replace all the locks and he was quick too! 10/10 recommend him for all locksmith needs!

From reviews it appears KeyMe Locksmiths is better than Forsyth Locksmith where I was quoted $19.99 by the receptionist for the service call and $65 for the lowest cost for replacing a door lock on home from my initial call. This followed with a call from the service tech who quoted $26 dollars for the service call. After discussion, he agreed to original $19.99 quoted cost. When he arrived after changing appt times 3 times that I accomodated to be helpful and decent, the service tech quoted me a minimum of $145 to replace lock not the original $65 quoted. This for a 2 screw deadbolt that I changed myself in 45 minutes. Reason for originally calling a service tech was due to limited time. The $145 did not include the $19.99 service fee which the service tech I believe named Thomas denied in person stating he never quoted at $26. When I cancelled service for the ever changing pricing he said he would not give me a receipt for the service charge until I stated I would not pay unless provided a receipt. I asked how he can live with himself with providing service with so many issues. He stated with a smile, I don’t care it’s not my business. Why did he not want to originally give me a receipt? Can’t be trusted there are better vendors to call like KeyMe Locksmiths NOT Forsyth Locksmith. I’ve never left a review before. Best to way to describe Forsyth Lockmith… truthfully awful.
