We moved and needed our doors re-keyed. Stewart was able to key them all to the same master and then make ten copies of that key for us. He fixed a keyless entry and programed it too. His fee was more than reasonable…I didn’t even think about tipping him until he left, but I wish I would have! His keys are NICE quality!

Key broke off in the ignition. He said within the hour, maybe 20minutes, he had the key out in like 30 seconds and a new one good to go in less than 5minutes! Life saver! Well worth the $100 for me!

Jeff was very professional and on time. He had to work a little extra as it was an older ignition that had been previously resmithed. Never once hesitated to share his knowledge, was extremely polite, kept his cool and a great sense of humor. Quote I received on the phone was the price I paid upon completion. Will recommend to friends and family!

⭐ 1 Star – Poor communication and unprofessional behavior

I called ahead for a quote for a replacement car key, explaining my vehicle was a 2008 Hyundai Elantra GLS. At that time, I did not know whether my car required a regular key, a transponder key, or a remote, and was quoted $120 over the phone based solely on the make and model.

When I arrived with my title and license, I was told they needed to “look it up,” then informed my car does not have a transponder chip, yet the price was still $116. I was then told to come back in an hour after they took copies of my title and license.

I said I wanted time to think about it and possibly check pricing elsewhere. I was told “that’s not how it works.” When I asked what happens if I decided not to move forward, the employee attempted to take the copies of my title and license out of my hand, claiming they were his, despite no work being done and no key being made.

This interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I understand VIN-based keys have limitations, but customers should be allowed to ask questions and make informed decisions—especially when personal documents are involved.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business.

One of my keys is short and unusual. It did not fit in your keosc. I was not sure if you could make the key. Since it did not fit well I did not want to have it made with your machine. I arrived home late.The keys I had made go to locks I haven’t installed yet. I haven’t tried the keys to make sure they work. If you want more input I will let you know if I have any problems. I would is you if I’m Menards and needed to have keys made.
