Had a house key made which works just fine but then again it better for 10 bucks. Once I received it I noticed that the machine said specifically on it “make any key” so I got to thinking that I had only one key to my fire safe. So I hit the specialty key button and inserted my safe key to at least see how much it would cost for this little key. It does its thing and then asks for the make and model of my vehicle. It would not let me past that screen nor was there any way to bypass it. Annoyed I called the number on the machine and was told the machine thinks its a vehicle key because its double sided. Well lady I said I watched it measure the key and I dont know about you but I’ve never in my life seen a vehicle key thats only 3/4 of an inch to an inch long and that computer in there should know that and be able to identify that considering it measured the length of the key. Aside from that I believe that machine said specifically on it that it can copy any key correct? The lady said yes and i proceeded to ask her well didnt you just tell me it couldnt make my key? The lady said yes and I said we’ll isnt that false advertisement if you know that but the machine specifically says on it that it can copy any key. I said thats just a straight out lie honestly. I would get it if it was one if those keys that has the circular end or something but this was just a normal key just smaller like a toolbox or a padlock key. All in all the city I did get was a good copy however the machine is a straight lie and in fact does not copy “ANY” key as they claim and lie saying.
The first key on the left i can understand it not being able to.make however it is a key also and I dont believe that would even go into the machine if I remember how it was set up correctly. The second key is the key I tried to have copied and the set on the right are just normal padlock and toolbox keys just as a reference to the size of the safe key.
