I have worked with NW Lock at my home and business for many years and they always do a great job. They have replaced keys for me, sold me a great safe and have replaced several deadbolts with combo locks.

I had three keys copied and I thought they were wildly overpriced. It turns out that two of them didn’t properly fit the lock they were supposed to open. On the plus side, they did promptly refund the cost of the keys which didn’t work. Still, I needed to drive to another location to get copies made of those. These kiosks are only convenient if they do the job correctly.

Called 3 other lock smiths in town for quotes. 2 never returned my call and third took my information and never called me back. Then I called Tim at Bobs master safe and lock service. He answered and gave me a quote with a very reasonable price. He was immediately available so I drove there. He was able to make a new key with chip inside for my chevy Silverado. Also he had to order a key fob and program it for me which came in a week later. Over all very good experience. Tim is a nice respectful man with very good knowledge. I would highly recommend him for anyone that needs a new key or key fob for a vehicle.

The keys seemed to have cut correctly but they do not unlock the door, very disappointed and will be trying to figure out refund.

Bought 2 keys and one free, looked good, however all three fail at the door. Went back to Lowes in traverse city michigan and they found all three blanks were 1/16 inch short and missed the last tumbler. I have three junk blanks and out $9. Not sure who is to blame but it is not me.
I modify my previous response to say the following. The machine worked perfectly. Great cut, fast service, and good price. Nothing that Minute Key machine or their owner did wrong. I did return to the store and the help desk verified that the key was copied correctly, however, the blank was short and missed the last tumbler cut. They, as I did, made sure the key was fully inserted into the slot when copied. No real harm, and no real fail. Things happen. I can afford to move and hope that Minute Key can too. Thanks for your quick customer response.
