Don is AMAZING! We had changed our front door lock before we went on vacation. Not realizing that our garage door to the house had the same key. We went on vacation and came home to a locked glass door which we didn’t have a key for and a locked garage door that we no longer had a key for. I called LockTech and Don answered right away! Said he had just finished another job and he could be to our address in 20 minutes or less. He showed up really fast, assessed the situation and had us in the garage door in less than 10 minutes. I was referred here by a Locksmith because I couldn’t find a particular type of key. I was surprised to see a shop that has this many keys. Glad now I know.

The good news is the technician was very responsive arriving within 40 minutes of my call. The tech was pleasant and quickly assessed the lock. However, the service took a mere five minutes, and the final cost was a staggering $325! Customers should know that this company charges a service fee to dispatch a tech and provide a quote, and they hold the actual price until the tech is on your property. This leaves you with no choice but to accept the exorbitant fee, as I did.

Battery died in my backup key FOB for a 2014 Nissan Versa Note SL and lost programming to start the vehicle (push button start) and unlock/lock the doors. Took it to Rob and he had the right tools and knowledge to reprogram the FOB. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommended to solve your key FOB issues and will be taking my business to them should I have similar issues in the future.

There is a reason that Pasadena Lock Shop has been around for over ninety years. It’s because they’re experts at what they do!
This mid-century modern secretary had been locked, with no key. Steve Curren, the owner and 3rd generation of his family running the shop, looked at the photos I sent and noted that the lower part of the secretary was open. He then instructed me on how to remove the lock mechanism without damaging the wood, thinking that a key to the bottom, which I did not have, might open the top lock, something I hadn’t even considered. I then brought the lock to his shop, where he looked at it and told me that if he had come to the house, he would not have been able to open the lock, but now having the lock in his shop, if I gave him a day or two, he could make key, that hopefully would open the upper lock as well.
And it did!
