Upon needing a 3rd quality padlock to match our already 2 keyed-alike padlocks (on a high security key blank), I was able to simply drop a copy of my key with my request. That was all that was needed. Tho we were in no rush, our lock was pinned up and waiting for us on our very next trip as we popped back up town! The lock, with new keys, did not cost as much as we expected considering the cylinder and key were both high security and the time at the bench for the tech. Additionally, I was able to get legal documents notarized at the very same visit and that made my stop even more productive. I was able to cross both off my list during the same visit. The counter staff were very friendly and easy to work with and I recommend Ave’s all the time. Thank you for the convenience!

We were so impressed and grateful to Wayne for his quick response time and his skill level. He came to the house to open a 20 year old safe that wouldn’t open with the code. He came the same day and spent over 2 hours drilling, hammering and using a crowbar to break through the cement and steel. It was a Herculean task that he accomplished all while remaining calm and polite. Despite the fact that the safe was empty, we were so thankful for Wayne’s efforts. It was a dirty and exhausting job.

I gave RJ lock a key to my pool house gate which is very difficult to reproduce. They made one only to find out that it did not fit nor did it work. When I returned the next day, they patiently searched for a correct key, made a duplicate, and it worked. Really appreciate their standing behind their products.

Two times, this company has come through for our family in a big way!! First time, our son was involved in an accident, we were a 1.5 hour drive away and the tow driver was so nice to him while he was shaken up. Second time, he helped my sister-in-law with a tow- he was so nice to her and when he heard that she was traveling home from making final arrangements for her father who had just passed- he only charged her $80 and told her she’d been through enough. I was having such a hard time trying to get a key programmed for my vehicle. I called a few dealerships first, and honestly, they were just rude and unhelpful. My father got a replacement key fob from here and it doesn’t work right. It’s constantly setting off the panic button. When he returned to see what they could do he was told they don’t warranty their work. Plus they gave him the wrong fob because it has a button for a hatch and he has a pickup.

Dude is an absolute Gem of a human in my opinion. And I don’t see that lightly. It was already amazing that he knew my car was hard to work on. I called several people before him and none of them would even give me the time of day some of them weren’t calling me back and I finally found out it’s because people don’t work on Volkswagens. Is my daughter’s car and she just HAD to have a beetle. I let her borrow my car the other day and she didn’t see that her set of keys was on the roof of my car when she drove off so we lost her keys. So we finally we’re told about Daniel from another company. They told me that he was like the only one that would do VW around here. But yeah so he guaranteed that he would try to fix it and if it didn’t work he wouldn’t even charge me even when I tried to insist at least $20 for gas. He wouldn’t accept. And for me I’m all about being an honorable person and it just really meant a lot to me I had to get on here and give him a five-star review. He’s outside trying to fix it right now. He told me with these cars there’s no guarantee because VW is just very tricky most people won’t work on them anymore I know that firsthand because I called 4 different places before him. Either way I’m grateful for him attempting to try to help us out especially because he’s already had a full day but still me time to come at the end of the day to help me and my family out. Knowing that he might not even earn money. Allied will be the only locksmith we call from now on. Much respect bro!

I called Harpers Ferry Lock and Key when I accidentally locked my only key in the car outside of a local restaurant. The older gentleman that showed up to help me was very nice and told me I could sit and wait inside while he did his thing since it was very cold outside. The entire process took only about 30 minutes and I was charged $115 which I feel is reasonable.
