This place is amazing. The dealer gave us a quote that was more than double what we paid to use US Auto Locksmith and the owner came to our house and fixed everything for a fraction of the dealer quote. He was fast, polite, friendly and helpful, and super high quality and customer service. Definitely recommend!!!

I would recommend to everyone, such a positive experience from scheduling until after the service. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, they gave me a price over the phone. The locksmith called to give updates on his arrival and was very nice and professional. 5 STARS!!

I went to Advanced Security Safe and Lock to replace my car key fob because the buttons weren’t working. The employee was very polite and helpful, and I got a new key fob in less than 20 mins. Prices were reasonable and it was around $140 for a replacement. One con is that the driveway is kind of tight to pull in, so be careful when pulling in. Otherwise, I would highly recommend coming here for their car key replacement services!

The first guy that showed up was not good at his job, technically or otherwise. He could not, or would not, shim a lock cylinder, thereby forcing me to replace my very nice exterior door hardware with whatever overly expensive and underperforming things he could sell me. He also tried repeatedly to put a wood screw into a steel plate, so I warned him that he was going to strip out the lock hardware, or my door, unless he used a proper machine screw from his kit, or borrowed from my existing hardware. That really set him off, and he proceeded to treat me and the job like garbage until I called his dispatcher to send someone else. He also managed to lose some of my original door screws in the course of dramatically abandoning his work, which I had to replace myself the following day.

The new guy they sent actually shimmed the lock cylinders, so I was able to keep my original hardware. He did run into a problem with kik cylinder compatibility, which couldn’t be helped, but he ultimately made things work, and stayed a long while to do it.

I’ve used A1 before, and they were just fine. I’d probably use them again in an emergency. If time is on your side, consider a different outfit. The best is in Mt. Vernon, on Read Street

This company is top notch. Came to my vehicle within an hour of first contact with them. Makii was our tech and was able to make us a key and fob right on the spot. I’m keeping them in my phone contact forever!!!!

I have found the only locksmith I will ever need. I locked myself out of the house early one morning and needed fast help. I searched for 24 hour locksmiths because this was around 6am. David picked up on the second ring, gave me an estimated cost if all went as planned, and 21 minutes later, Stephen arrived! This is the second time I’ve tried to visit this place and they were randomly closed because they don’t have staff… It’s a total inconvenience when these are supposed to be your operating hours and you just randomly close without any notice because you don’t have staff for your business… If you don’t have enough people, then you need to change your hours.

Dude is an absolute Gem of a human in my opinion. And I don’t see that lightly. It was already amazing that he knew my car was hard to work on. I called several people before him and none of them would even give me the time of day some of them weren’t calling me back and I finally found out it’s because people don’t work on Volkswagens. Is my daughter’s car and she just HAD to have a beetle. I let her borrow my car the other day and she didn’t see that her set of keys was on the roof of my car when she drove off so we lost her keys. So we finally we’re told about Daniel from another company. They told me that he was like the only one that would do VW around here. But yeah so he guaranteed that he would try to fix it and if it didn’t work he wouldn’t even charge me even when I tried to insist at least $20 for gas. He wouldn’t accept. And for me I’m all about being an honorable person and it just really meant a lot to me I had to get on here and give him a five-star review. He’s outside trying to fix it right now. He told me with these cars there’s no guarantee because VW is just very tricky most people won’t work on them anymore I know that firsthand because I called 4 different places before him. Either way I’m grateful for him attempting to try to help us out especially because he’s already had a full day but still me time to come at the end of the day to help me and my family out. Knowing that he might not even earn money. Allied will be the only locksmith we call from now on. Much respect bro!
