Found myself locked out of my house on a freezing morning. Within minutes of calling Gene’s, I was on the phone with Matt and had talked through the problem, and he was on his way. Within 15 minutes, he was at the front door and working. Matt’s professionalism and knowledge were amazing. He was able to install a new lock and rekey some old ones. Matt also made himself available to answer my many questions about all of my doors and locks. All of this was completed quickly and at a very reasonable price. I feel more secure knowing I can call them for emergency services or any service. I am happy to support a local family-owned business.

Dave was great! Called him up today after making settlement on our house to have all the locks re-keyed. He was at the house within 30 minutes! He was fast, kind and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be calling Dave back anytime I need a locksmith.

Very unprofessional business place I called the guy and explained that I’ve lost my car keys and he didn’t even let me finish my sentence and hung up the phone on me saying I have no technician in that area.. that is just wrong and disrespectful. You guys need to hire professional people at the front desk or answering calls

Super friendly – they made it so easy to get a new key for my 2013 Honda. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. It was less than the dealership would have charged and my new key comes with a 6 month warranty! Highly recommend.

I wanted a spare key to keep in my wallet, both as a valet key and in case I lock my keys in the car. The kiosk couldn’t copy my key, so they had to ship it to me; my new key took a few days to arrive, but when it did, it worked perfectly! The only issue I have is that KeyMe doesn’t give the option to order a key without a rubber head; the one I got fits in my wallet, but just barely. Still, even with shipping, the cost was far less than the dealer would have charged!

Terrible. Was stranded for 6.5 hours. Kept rescheduling that evening into night hours. Kept giving run around of eta. Eventually canceled and got extra set from home in Baltimore next day. Wouldn’t recommend.

Love this kiosk in the entrance of Walmart. Was even able to duplicate small key for storm door. File cabinet keys were scanned & mailed to me as machine didn’t have blanks. All keys worked perfectly!

Normally this kiosk works pretty well, but not this time. I was surprised it offered padlock key cutting at all, but I quickly found that it wasn’t up to the task. It’s not an exotic lock – it’s an off-the-shelf lock that is offered by any place that sells generic brand locks.

Of the three keys cut they were all too thick, teeth were missing and crooked on the shank, and heavy burring was left behind. None of the three keys worked at all. They wouldn’t even fit into the keyway. I’ve requested a refund, but haven’t heard back on it yet.

UPDATE: I received an email the same day from a customer service rep saying they’ve refunded me.

This kiosk works great generally on larger keys and I’ll still use it for that purpose. Some keys still need to be hand cut, and that’s ok. Minute Key made things right. 5 stars for the customer service. 5 stars for keys normally. 1 star for padlock keys. Bringing my review up from a 1 to a 3.

This company is top notch. Came to my vehicle within an hour of first contact with them. Makii was our tech and was able to make us a key and fob right on the spot. I’m keeping them in my phone contact forever!!!!

I went to Advanced Security Safe and Lock to replace my car key fob because the buttons weren’t working. The employee was very polite and helpful, and I got a new key fob in less than 20 mins. Prices were reasonable and it was around $140 for a replacement. One con is that the driveway is kind of tight to pull in, so be careful when pulling in. Otherwise, I would highly recommend coming here for their car key replacement services!
