I recently visited Ivey Locksmith & Security to buy and have a new key fob made for my recently purchased vehicle, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the first phone call, they treated me like a real person, not just another customer. They had the key fob I needed in stock and beat the dealership’s price by a lot.

When I arrived, they programmed my new fob in less than 10 minutes — super fast and professional! While I waited, I noticed they offer so much more than just keys: key chains, team lanyards, and a great variety of key accessories. They also provide a wide range of services, including key cutting, fob programming, security systems, and safes.

Keyman was not able to program my keyfob for my mazda miata. It will not let me start my car and his work did more harm than good. I will not go back to him for anything. I was very disappointed in his service. The shop is not what it used to be

Minute Key used to be great. For around $2, you could quickly make a simple brass key that worked perfectly, no hassle. That simplicity and value were the whole appeal.
Now, even the most basic metal keys are around $5, and you’re asked to pay an extra $3 for an “extra smooth” cut, something that used to be standard and should honestly be included. This was changed within recent months, not years. At this point, I would get better luck, and find it less of a hassle, smacking metal with a pointed rock than to get one here.
On top of that, the kiosk experience has gone downhill. You’re constantly pushed through promo offers and pop-ups, which just slows everything down. I miss when it was just: insert key, select, pay, done.
The machine still works, but the exorbitant price increases and added upsells have taken away what made this service worth using in the first place.

Took care of making a new key with chip on short notice for my daughters vehicle. Reasonably priced. Im in Texas and he let me pay over the phone. I’d recommend.
