I needed an extra key made for my 2011 Honda Pilot, so I contacted Jim’s Locksmith and Safe to see if they could help. They asked a few simple questions and requested a photo of the key and fob, which I sent by text. Although they didn’t have the key in stock and said it would take a day to arrive, they went ahead and ordered it for me even though my schedule was uncertain. The key was ready the very next day, and the entire service took less than 30 minutes. The price was also lower than four other places I contacted, including the Honda dealership. I highly recommend Jim’s Locksmith and Safe.

I had a keypad deadbolt installed on one door and new deadbolt installed on another. The first door was simply not squared up and had been very difficult to use. The technician worked diligently until all is well. He was good humored through the entire ordeal! The other deadbolt installation was simpler for him. He made keys….showed me how to use the keypad lock…..couldn’t have asked for a better job. Thanks! I said Rueschhoffs should have a new motto….”if you have a front door you ought to be able to open and close it”. If you’re in or around Lawrence, use this company. You won’t regret it.

Keyman was not able to program my keyfob for my mazda miata. It will not let me start my car and his work did more harm than good. I will not go back to him for anything. I was very disappointed in his service. The shop is not what it used to be

Garbage. Called and was quoted $200 for a mobile lockout. I said I’d call around, and they immediately dropped the price to $170 and promised 30-minute service.

45 minutes later, when I hadn’t even heard from a provider yet, I called back. I got transferred 3 times then informed that they hadn’t found a locksmith yet. No notice. Then they wanted to charge an $80 cancellation fee, which I refused.
