Kj was polite, professional, patient, hardworking, and a truly skilled craftsman, exceeding all expectations, he did what no other locksmith in ROC could do. we had a damage fob key that would not work on our Dodge caravan. We were recommended to Mr Keys LOCKSMITH on 586 Lyell Avenue. explained what we needed and the gentleman that service our request was simply amazing. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes with a key fob replacement for under $50. their prices are incredibly more than reasonable, and the customer service is spectacular. They are competent. They are knowledgeable and they get great service.. We originally were told by another company that it would take a week to get it done And approximately $200. We definitely got a blessing and a bargain at Mr Keys.

My guy came through in the clutch. I lost my car fob in the snow digging my car out. Got locked out and couldn’t start my car. I called early in the morning and he got here in fast time. He was able to make another key fob and I was able to get inside and start my car

I had a dilemma. My daughter lost both keys to her fireproof lockbox. I managed to pick the lock to access the contents, but this wasn’t a good long-term solution. The maker of the box was charging a hefty fee for a single replacement. The first local place I called wanted $50 to make a single copy, since I didn’t have the original key. The box cost less than this, so trashing it and buying a new one seemed like a possibility. Enter Advanced Safe & Lock, which did it for less than half the cost of the other place. They did it quickly while I waited, and I purchased some copies at the same time. Overall I’m very satisfied with the service.

If there were a way to give them an extra ⭐ I would. I needed a replacement key fob for my older model Chevy and not only did they have it, the service was excellent. A fantastic, friendly, family owned company and they really know their business, you just don’t see that anymore. Added bonus the build is charming! I will be going to them for all my key and locksmith needs.

Reasonably priced, conscientious.
When we moved into our townhouse, there were three outside doors that each had a unique latching problem. Ed was able to solve the problems in a very economical way by selecting and installing new strike-plates in a way that worked for each door. I appreciated his attention to detail and his reasonable price.

Tremendous! These guys were a real lifesaver. I had just stepped outside in a light jacket to grab something during one of the coldest days of January. Of course this is the time my garage door decided not to work (probably a dead battery due to the cold) and all the other doors to my house were locked. I was trapped outside and couldn’t even get into my car. I went down the list, calling locksmiths, but none were available within a couple hours. Except for North country locksmith!!

They answered the phone promptly and they were at my house within 20 minutes. Coincidentally just as they pulled up, my garage door decided to cooperate again and work (after countless previous tries). I offered to pay them for coming out and their emergency response call and he repeatedly declined my offer to pay. “It’s a nice day for a drive.” Super nice guy. Would’ve been a lifesaver cause I was getting really cold. I know exactly who I will use for any locksmith needs!! ❤️❤️

I had 5 keys cut at the minute key kiosk. None of them worked in any of the locks they were for. I sent the company a message explaining that and requesting a refund as the kiosk said the keys were guaranteed to work. They responded quickly but I was required to give them the purchase information twice, a picture of my credit card statement, a picture of the copy and the original, and now they are “escalating” the issue.

It’s been almost 3 weeks and they still haven’t refunded my $30. Having someone at the hardware store cut they keys sometimes takes an extra 5-10 minutes to find a store associate, but if the keys don’t work the store will refund you no questions asked. So I am still out $30 and and 2 hours of my time between getting the keys cut and emailing the company 10 times. I will never use minute key again unless there is no other option within 1 hour driving distance from me.
