Zack was great! The texting feature they have is a great customer service tool that I used. I text Zack and the same day he was out fixing my issue. He came out on Christmas Eve and reprogrammed my older key fob so I could have a spare key. He was very polite and explained the entire process with me and explained the pricing which was accurate! My experience with LKS Locksmiths was excellent. My initial call was answered prompt and pleasant. My service requested was at a very fair price. Daniel also made a security recommendation that was also very reasonable in cost which I included in my visit. If I could give zero stars, I would. I was locked out of my car without my phone and had to wait for my boyfriend to help. Unbeknownst to me, he had called KeyMe to inquire about pricing. The technician refused to provide a price upfront, saying he would assess the situation first and then inform my boyfriend upon arrival because I had no phone.

When the technician finally arrived, he approached me as if everything was already arranged—without ever disclosing the cost. Only after he completed the job (which took him three seconds using a simple pump) did he tell me the outrageous charge: $195. He didn’t have to travel far; he was just down the road.

This business is completely non-transparent with pricing, and the service was absolutely not worth the cost. If I had known the price beforehand, I would have never agreed. This is a predatory practice, and I would love to get my money back.

Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be blindsided by excessive charges!

Less than 24 hours before my appointment, I spoke with the office and confirmed as well as with the technician. I was even communicating with the technician providing pictures required. My appointment was canceled claiming that they tried to reach out to me to confirm… What is the point of scheduling and confirming with the technician less than 24 hours before the appointment, if I have to do it again the next day? Furthermore, if your business is so loosely organized that you required daily confirmations, perhaps inform your customers of that so they can expect your call.
