The gentleman running the place is always very nice and helpful he’s usually very busy. Since he’s the only one working. I had several services done by him and several keys cut. And locks made to fit my keys. I highly recommend him for your next lock service.

They do not actually schedule for service of rekeying locks at your home. They put you on a list and you just have to wait for their call. There is no guarantee of how long that will be. I did not get on the list because, I have other things that need to be done. Also when I mentioned the I did not lock the uncertainty the person in the phone just hung up without staying anything. If this is how you treat to potential customers, I don’t want to know how you treat an actual customer.

I had a key fob programmed and a key cut for 2017 Ford Flex. Made an appointment same day and it took about 30-40 minutes. Janice and Jacob did a great job. Very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend their service.

I had multiple house keys made. For the first keys, I chose the “high performance” option. When the copy keys was complete I was concerned, because some of the ridges from the original key were missing on the copy key. We tried the copy key and it worked, which made me wonder what the extra ridges were for. When I had the 2nd original key copied I chose to not use the “high performance” option, because I just wanted to have a comfort feeling with the copy key being identical to the original key. Both copy keys worked regardless of choosing or ignoring that option.

Do not continue if the machine says it needs to ship the key. You’ll never receive it. Machine couldn’t print the key for whatever reason so it needed to be shipped which was fine. However, that was over a month ago and still no key. I called their customer service and was just told “the key shipped late…” Terrible service and customer service.

Paid over $10 for a key and the machine went thru the entire process and never spit out a key. Never again.. The establishment that has the machine should be able to help with this. This machine was in Lowes and nobody including the manager could help. They should have at least given me a refund without having to call the manufacturer of the machine. A complete waist of my time and money.Went to ACE hardware and got 2 keys for $10. And quicker.

Today we came to Dash Lock and Key to replace two car keys for Anthony’s truck. Jackie took great care of us. She told us it would take about 30 minutes, but she finished in less than 20!

We’re so grateful for her experience, professionalism, and efficiency. If you need a key replaced right away in Middletown, NY, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

I like the convenience of getting keys without someone’s help. The prices are way too high. Still cheaper to go to ace hardware and get one made. I like that it can car keys to now but still way expensive.
