I was wanting to be able to get a new key for my car without having to go to the dealer. I tried places like the Minute Key inside of Home Depot and Walmart. The machine could not duplicate the key and the customer service I got was horrible.

Looking for another answer I found this place. The building on the outside may not be that impressive but the customer service and the expertise on the inside is fantastic. They took care of getting me new car keys. I also had been trying multiple times at different places to get an old key duplicated. No problem here.

For any future lock needs, I will be coming here. They have things I had not even considered like safes, key accessories, old style locks to the newest possible. Even tools and other supplies for installing locks. You were friendly and very open about the service that they can provide. Prices were upfront and very reasonable.

I don’t think you’ll find a better place in town.

I made an appointment and waited over 3 hours after the time scheduled. I sat by my car and once it was 7 at night, I called the technician who told me that his job was just really hard and he was now tired so he’s not gonna show up. I called the company back and was told that I’d get a call back and I never did. The next day I called back and asked for some money off because I walked almost 10 miles to get back home in the rain and they expected me to walk back and wait there again. I’m a disabled veteran who had a rough job. This is just nonsense

Poor response time and communication for home lockout service. I called as we were locked out of our home and needed the storm door/glass door opened. They said they would be there in 25-30 minutes. After 45 minutes, I called back and the main office told me the technician would give me call with an exact ETA. The technician didn’t call so after another 20 minutes, I had to give the main office another call. Then, 10 minutes later, the technician called saying they’d be there in 10 minutes, but they came 20 minutes later. We were then told it would be $185 and asked if a discount could be applied for being late, but were denied it.

To conclude, they came 1h45m after calling for service. They had quoted 25-30m, so over an hour late. No communication from their side throughout – I had to make multiple followups. They could not provide an estimate over the phone so we didn’t know the cost until arrival. Upon arrival, the service was very quick – we got into the home no problem. Asked for a discount, but it was denied.

Perhaps their other services are fine, but I cannot recommend them for lockouts. The communication is too poor.

This company is 10 star on a 5 star scale!!! They got me in touch with a technician right away. He called and promised to be to my place within the hour. He was here in half an hour. He not only got me a new fob going, he was able to keep the old key WHICH I FOUND 2 minutes after he got here!!! Now I have a good backup key. Extremely friendly and competent technician.

On February 21,2026, I had Chief of Locks Greenwood make me a new key for a car that I purchased that day. On March 9th 2026, my car went into lock and anti theft mode. Before, I found out that was the issue. I wanted money on a new battery. So I took my car to my mechanic and the dealership to get diagnosed and both said the key wasn’t programmed correctly. The dealership tried reprogram the old key and it won’t reprogram. I called Cheif of Locks to see if they would fix the issue but they have yet tried to resolve the problem. It’s been going on 3 weeks now since I haven’t been able to drive my car. Since no one in management called to fix the problem. I will be pursuing with legal actions. Do not let Chief of Locks make you a new key for your car.

I did the three keys get one free deal. The keys came out pretty sharp. You could see the indentations. Other than that it’s worth cheap price of 13 bucks.

The first kiosk didn’t work. The second kiosk I had to get the msnager to help me and it took 3 times to finally get the key made. I’m glad I wasn’t in a hurry.

Assigned me to a locksmith quickly. Provided info and said they would be there in 25 mins. 90 mins later no show, called technician and said about 25 mins again. An hour later called KeyMe and they initially could not find my order. Found order and said they would have technician call me. Again said 25 minutes. After no show called back and cancelled. 2 hours later technician called and said he was finally on his way (5 hours after initial call). Clearly they just accept all jobs coming in and do not actually “schedule” you so you have to just wait around all day and hope they come
