I had a keypad deadbolt installed on one door and new deadbolt installed on another. The first door was simply not squared up and had been very difficult to use. The technician worked diligently until all is well. He was good humored through the entire ordeal! The other deadbolt installation was simpler for him. He made keys….showed me how to use the keypad lock…..couldn’t have asked for a better job. Thanks! I said Rueschhoffs should have a new motto….”if you have a front door you ought to be able to open and close it”. If you’re in or around Lawrence, use this company. You won’t regret it.

Jeff is definitely the kind of locksmith you want to save to your contacts. Very responsive, personable, and knowledgeable. Most of the other locksmith groups in the area run via call centers and use free-lance smiths who may or may not know what they’re doing.

Jeff runs his own business and it shows. He helped me re-key my gen 10 honda civic and the replacement key works like a treat. 10/10 service and quality.

I made an appointment and waited over 3 hours after the time scheduled. I sat by my car and once it was 7 at night, I called the technician who told me that his job was just really hard and he was now tired so he’s not gonna show up. I called the company back and was told that I’d get a call back and I never did. The next day I called back and asked for some money off because I walked almost 10 miles to get back home in the rain and they expected me to walk back and wait there again. I’m a disabled veteran who had a rough job. This is just nonsense

Got in touch with local technician. Quoted $30 for visit, $100 to pick lock. Then said extra $60 labor to drill 6 pin lock. Finished in less than 5 minutes and charged $277. Was here 18 minutes. (Ring camera). Happy with the service but not extra over initial bid.

Was unsure that the keys would work, but when I got home all three keys worked I’ve had bad experiences before with this type of process, but I’m very satisfied with this experience. My only issue is that I’d have to call an 800 number if they didn’t work I’m so thankful they did Work

Expensive to begin with plus it charged more to my card than it claimed it would.. only like $1 but still I’m sure that adds up for them and makes a nice little extra profit ha. I didn’t even choose the $2.99 upgrade to run a wire brush over it.. something that any good locksmith would do just as a matter of due course included in a key that would cost half that much to insure it works.. that shouldn’t be extra lol. On top of that it’s a cheap little aluminum key that cost them 12 cents and is bound to break. On the plus side it was convenient.. but it’s not durable enough to be the main key. Just a backup.

The service was good the only thing I didn’t like they want to charge you a $1.99 for them to deburr the key, that’s ridiculous that should all be in with the price will you have to pay extra to upgrade to remove the sharp edges.

They subcontracted out to an absurd degree of compartmentalization.
The local locksmith had great customer service and got me rolling again with only minor damage to an already banged up company vehicle, but they had no clue what they were showing up to.

Brandon was great! Very professional and friendly! He made a spare key for our jeep including the lock/unlock/self start. It took less than 30 minutes. He also gave me a call to make a convenient time for me and also called on his way with an eta. Highly recommend! Even better they give AAA discount. So easy.
