The tech returned my call quickly, and quoted at LEAST $50. Once he arrived and opened the door in under 60 seconds, he reveals that the cost is over $300 after tax. If you decide you don’t want to pay, an $85 dispatch fee is requested and then they want to LOCK THE KEY BACK in the car because the dispatch fee is not the service fee. I was trying to beat a quote from another business that $130-$160 (which I should have taken, in hindsight).

Long story short, this business is playing a dangerous game with price gouging, and deceptive pricing. At the end of the day though, I got my key and did not pay $300+. Be safe.

We needed a locksmith to gain entry into residence. Ray arrived at the house within 20 minutes. He then had us inside shortly after his arrival. Very pleased with the service and cost associated. I will definitely call him back for any future locksmith needs.

I lost my keys and unfortunately could not find them. I called him and explained my situation. I only had a certain amount of money on me. He was nice and helped me out for what I had. I would highly recommend him! He was quick too.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We called in for an emergency service. My friend was house sitting while we were on vacation and accidentally locked herself out. This was during the artic blast with temperatures dipping into the negatives. We wanted to get her back in as quickly as possible so she wouldn’t freeze, but this company quoted us $1,000 to unlock the backdoor. I understand it was an emergency late night service, but for that amount we could have just had her break a window to get in immediately and had the window replaced for less. Absolutely unrealistic and unreasonable pricing.

In addition, my friend attempted calling other “lock smiths” in our area and she was routed back to the same attendant at this company that gave the initial quote. He then berated her on the phone and told her that if she “doesn’t want to pay she can freeze.”

I am beyond words disgusted by this abhorrent behavior. Avoid this company at all costs!

Also, after a few more calls we were able to find a locksmith that came out within 20 minutes and got the door unlocked for $175. They were fantastic and understood the urgency of the situation.

My ignition got stuck in the lock position. I called in and explained the issue in detail and asked if they could do work on the ignition. The person on the phone said yes they do ignition work and could be out today. He asked lots of questions about the issue. They did get a person out within a couple of hours. However all he did was make a new key and when that didn’t work charged $45 and left. Was there less than 10 minutes. I’m very disappointed as it was clear in our conversation it is not a key problem. The ignition is stuck.

Absolutely awesome! I went to have a blank key fob I purchased off line cut so I could put my “tube” expertise to the test. No one else would cut as they wanted me to buy theirs! Great experience! We had an older safe and never had the combination. We always used a padlock. We recently moved and somehow in the move the safe got locked and we were unable to get in it. Safe Tech did a great job. He was able to not only open the safe, but to obtain the combination so we can use the safe as intended. He drilled the safe open, repaired it and we now have a like new safe. Very professional job. Would highly recommend Safe Tech.

Incredible customer service and high quality work! We have a very unique situation with our front door lock that we have struggled to find a solution to. Way overpriced sold me a single one piece mailbox lock old and very used for $21 dollars… Lowe’s had a brand new mailbox lock with several interchangeable brackets a nut and washer…. $8 !!!! This locksmith should not be your go-to. My first experience is bad one….. They refused to let me look at several different mailbox locks he said there were too many but he could have brought out a handful and let me take a look. But all he did was bring me out one and said oh…. If this doesn’t work bring it back …… Ok great…. good…… Only problem is …. Is that when I returned the very next day ( because he sold me the wrong size) he has a hand written sign on the door stating “Sorry we are closed….. Call orders only”….. And to top it off they are closed Friday and the entire weekend!!!!! Wow what a business. I get that they are elderly and probably well respected in the area. But something’s got to give with a business that does not operate with the customer service in mind….. Closing up shop on a day you are scheduled to be open…… With a already super short open schedule for the rest of the week!!! Wow!! Overpriced…. And and super inconvenient and definitely not with the customer in mind. I will NOT be coming back here again. Oh…. To copy one Key….. $10 dollars!!!! Everywhere else 2-3 dollars!!!!! Rip-off!!!
