Do not use this company. The cylinder they installed 9 months ago failed preventing me from opening the door from the inside. The guy I spoke with kept insisting it wasn’t his work and after I found the receipt to prove it was them. he tried to argue that the cylinder wasn’t what failed without even looking at the problem. Little regard for my safety. Worst company. I would not had minded paying another 220 dollars if he came in and said this is the part that failed and this is the part they installed. Instead he kept arguing even after I told him I got someone who could require medical assistance at any moment. I need to make sure the entire building doesn’t use them.

Needed a key for the Ranger I just bought so I called around to see who would give me a fair price. Called Buford’s and a very nice woman answered the phone and gave me a quote. I walked in and told the man at the counter what I was there for and he had my key cut and programmed in less than 10 minutes and the price was exactly what I was quoted over the phone. They were the only place I called that did not act like I was bothering them. Truly appreciate their professionalism and I will now be going to them for any of my locksmith needs.

They are an awesome local locksmith company with great service! They are a little pricey, in my likely uninformed opinion of how much their expertise is worth. I do like investing in the local community, so I would still strongly encourage other folks to use their services. If you’re on a budget, however, I would also recommend shopping quotes.

Made the unfortunate mistake of leaving the house keys behind when I was carelessly in a hurry. Here in Richmond County it was pass the business hours of our local locksmith. I was able to reach Mr. Burr and he made the trip from Wadesboro to come to the rescue. I am more than grateful for his services and forever thankful for the help that he provided when all hope seemed loss. Customer urgency can often lead to impatience. I’m just glad that I was able to treat him and his business with the respect his services deserved. I thank Mr. Burr and his wife for the graciousness they showed to my wife and I. There’s no fee I wouldn’t have paid to undue my mistake so I am more than pleased with what he charged to make the 30 minute trip.

Honest, quality service.

Had a car key that I had purchased online and cut by Burdick Security, but was missing the transponder. They recommended me to these guys, and they transferred the one from my old key (broken housing, working transponder) to the new one at no charge. Also overheard one of the two folks helping someone else out over the phone, and they provided options along with pros and cons. Didn’t seem pushy, or try to upcharge. Would definitely go back with any lock related issues.
