I was going to stop at a hardware store to have two keys made. I was leaving the dept. store and spotted a key copying machine in their lobby. I decided to try it. It worked great! I made 2 copies. Both worked well. Only about 10 minutes total.

I needed to duplicate two keys from the same lock manufacturer but none of the key cross references on the internet had a listing for a blank key, so I went to a local hardware store and the salesman made two keys from what he assumed was the correct key blank. Both keys could be inserted into the lock but neither key would turn the tumblers, so I went to Lowes which has a Minute Key machine and had two keys made. They worked perfectly, but at $4.00 each they were expensive! As the old saying goes ya get what ya pay for!
