I don’t usually do the review thing but Jacob’s on the ball! Even on a Sunday afternoon when I know he had better things to do, he was here and I was taken care of within an hour of initial conversation. It only took that long because of the drive (I live in BFE). Definitely worth taking the time to give this review!

Fantastic work. We lost our only key to our one vehicle, completely. GM wanted a fortune and would need us to tow the vehicle there. Ben’s Lock & Key did their work at our home for a fraction of the price. Brand new key and programmed to our vehicle. The technician, Tengiz, was very nice and professional and worked very quickly and ensured multiple times that our new key works properly. I highly recommend. 5 out of 5 stars. I just went in to get a key copied and was very impressed with the service. The locksmith was very professional and did an excellent job. Another customer came in needing several services and the locksmith showed that he was very knowledgeable and handled his needs and gave some insights on options. If you need one of the newer car keys, I saw that they have the equipment to program them (you can’t just copy the physical key any more) and, although I wasn’t getting a car key on this trip, I suspect they charge a lot less than the car dealerships. It’s worth checking out.

I came in politely to ask a simple question about reprogramming a key fob that this business originally replaced for me a couple of years ago. I had no attitude and approached the situation kindly, simply looking for information.

Instead of being respectfully informed that the key would need to be replaced rather than reprogrammed, I was spoken to in a rude and dismissive manner and referred to as “girl,” which I found disrespectful and unnecessary. The interaction made me uncomfortable enough to leave without receiving any assistance.

I understand that not every service can be provided, but professionalism and basic courtesy should always be. I am a kind person and was treated in a way that did not reflect that. This experience was very disappointing

Brought in a tumbler that I needed the pins reset. They were great to work with and took care of my problem right away. The pricing was reasonable and I was about the door shortly. I unfortunately dropped the tumbler trying to put it back in the door, and sheepishly had to go back to have them do it again. They understood my mistake and were able to take care of me again.
Friendly service, would definitely use them on my next project needs. Next time I think I should have just paid for a house call to have it done right the first time.
