Reliable and helpful. A pleasure to patronize. Nobody knows everything — Phillips figured out and solved my motorcycle key problem and made me factory new keys when nobody else even had a clue. Their competitor did better on finding a different sort of key, but they tried to be as helpful as possible.

Zarak was right on time (15-20mins) as promised & he was able to quickly get me back into my house.
Zarak was polite and extremely easy to work with, he only accepts cash / cash app which was not a problem. I was grateful I had my phone when I got locked out to be able to quickly google a locksmith, it was worth the price considering the emergency situation. Thank you Zarak!!!

After three locksmiths failed to make a key fob for my Hyundai Santa Fe, Shawn came through and got it done. He even went back to his own home just to make sure I had the correct fob with full functionality. All of this was done in 98-degree heat — no complaints, just pure professionalism. Pretty disappointed after looking at the reviews and not getting the same quality of service most of the reviews reported. Had a bad experience with Swanson, so we called Albany lock & key to come out and fix an issue with the lock & knob for our business. They came out the same day to replaced our hardware and key it to our keys. Within a week we realized that we could not lock the knob lock from the outside, which wasn’t terrible since we also have the padlock. I called to tell them and they didn’t seem too concerned. At that time I also noticed that the “new” hardware had a crack in the shaft behind the outer knob and appeared used, we had expected that he installed new hardware prior to noticing that. Then a couple days later the door started sticking closed and wouldn’t open at all to allow customers in and out, so we called them back to fix it. They came out and got the door loose and said the issue was resolved. Within a week the door was sticking closed again, so we tried to call them back but they didn’t answer and didn’t return the call after leaving a voicemail. We ended up having to call a different maintenance person to get the door open again twice since we last tried to call and have been told that the hardware is worn out and will continue to stick. Leading us to believe it was in fact used hardware. I really hoped we’d have better luck with Albany lock and key based on other reviews but ended up disappointed. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to expect follow up on issues that may arise from services that your company provided.

This company here did amazing, it was one older guy who came to help me out and he did just that! Less than 20 mins and was super patient with me. I called and I am extremely glad that I did.

This place is outstanding. I came in with old and unusual tool box keys to have duplicated. The gentleman behind the counter was unbelievably patient and found the correct key blanks. The new keys worked great and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Swanson and Sons for all your locksmith needs.

I got keys copied at a kiosk. They work as expected. I don’t understand why the kiosk offered me a better cut key at a higher price. I feel like that was a grift. I got my keys cut at the standard price and they work just fine.
