Called to see if they do walk-ins and they do. Brought them my key that needed to be cut for my Honda Civic and within 10 mins they were done! Fast, efficient, cheaper than dealership too. Highly recommend them.

I called Fred’s locksmithing because I needed someone to rekey all of my residential locks and my triplex and I was hoping to have Fred create a master key system. However, rather than accepting my myself as a client, Fred actually directed me to a product that would allow me to rekey all of the locks by myself and allow me to have a master key (kwikset key control system ). So while I did not actually utilize Fred’s locksmithing Services, it was not because I did not need them. I did need his Services, but he also knew of an alternate path for myself that would not only save me money but would also remove me from being a potential client. I think that this was a stand-up move and reflects that that Fred is an open, honest Small Business person. So while I did not know how Fred is as a service provider, I do suspect that he is a good And honest person.

These guys are amazing! Had me in and out in less than five minutes remaking a key I needed for a street sweeper. The guy in there helping me was very knowledgeable, professional, and was eager to help. So many locksmiths businesses are only mobile now. It’s great to know that there are still Storefronts like this one where someone can go and speak to a person that wants to help. I highly recommend his business!

First number I called after locking my keys in my truck in the Walmart parking lot. Very polite and professional on the phone. He was driving somewhere and said he would stop what he was doing and come straight here. Price was also very reasonable. I had the pleasure of working with Dougs Lock and Key Service in Marion, Illinois, and I can’t say enough good things about them. I called them on a Monday (a day after a snowstorm) to install two new locks for my home. I was converting the property from an independent residence to a rental and needed the work done by Friday. Not only did they exceed my expectations, but they also made the whole process incredibly smooth and quick.

To my surprise, they showed up just 30 minutes after my call, despite the snowstorm that had dumped over a foot of snow. The technician was not only prompt but also professional and courteous, taking the time to have a pleasant conversation while getting the job done.

I was impressed with how quick and efficiently he worked. He had everything completed and my home ready to go five days ahead of schedule! The service was also reasonably priced.

Honestly, I wish all companies had customer service this good. They truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend them, and they’ve earned every bit of this five-star review!

Had these guys come out. We’re here 4 hours couldn’t get it to work or duplicate fob. He was suppose to have someone else come out but no call no show. Still asked for service fee. I used these guys because of the ratings, but still without a fob key. The guy was nice but seemed like this was his 1st day on the job. 4 hours when he said maybe an hour.
