The experience at this location has unfortunately been unreliable and unprofessional. After requesting a simple key service, the management here failed to fulfill their responsibilities in delivering the service, failed to respond to communication, caused significant delays (over 2 months) and failed to deliver overall.
Upon request for a refund, instead of acknowledging their lack of service and immediately issuing the refund, management instead tried to put the blame on us the customer and their own employee. After the management had a debate with their own employee, we were given our refund. Would not recommend this company.

I make key but it’s not working key i’m not sure I’m not referred to make the key on Walmart machine, but I make the key is not working on the lock. I pay almost like $15.

They gave me 2 busted keys and blocked my number after paying $270. I called them for a new key and the service tech, Gabriel gave me a key which only gave door access and not ignition. Before leaving, Gabriel assured me he was as only 10 minutes away and if any problem arose he would come and resolve the issue. Well sure enough, the key did not turn in the ignition. I called him promptly and he said he would come back in an hour. An hour turned to 2, then 4, then him becoming annoyed and verbally abusive and sending all my calls to voicemail. I even tried calling him from a different and when he recognized who I was he hung up and blocked that number. I called the them on their normal business line, service line, customer support line, and the technicians number at least 100x over a 4 day span because every tech and representative would either: hang up, send me to an different rep who would hang up, place me on hold and then hang up, or assure me a manager or service tech would call back and never did. A day later at about 11pm, a new technician, Enrique, said he was in route and did come to address the issue. He made me a new key, without a keyfob and said I had to hold the previous key up to it and use a rubber mallet to tap the key to get it to turn. Yes he seriously said that! The new key he made is stuck in my ignition and my car won’t turn off as I’m typing this. They refuse to send a new tech to remove the faulty key, and want to charge me an additional $600 to replace my ignition when I never had a problem with it previously. I if I call any of the numbers, they are all in cahoots and will give the runaround because they know they messed up and refuse to rectify the Please for the sake of everything you love, DO NOT USE KEY ME LOCKSMITHS. They have a kiosk in Walmart in Villa Park and apparently have other locations but you will as screwed as me if think supporting local businesses will get you anywhere. They will no longer take my calls and I now have to use another company after paying for services not rendered. By far this is the worst experience I’ve had in my life and I have had to miss therapy appointments for my autistic son because of their shoddy work, entitled employees, and lack of oversight by whatever they claim to be management. I intend to do all in my power to recoup my losses and warn against this company because it has honestly been a nightmare experience I want no one, especially a parent of a special needs toddler to endure. Do NOT take my review for granted because I have never left a negative review for any company. I am out of $300, need a new locksmith, and a new battery because they were a close option. Do no ever use them, U spoke with Max, Paula, Emanuel, Ehmer, John, Regina, Gabriel, Enrique, and at least 20 other employees with the same result of rudeness, being dismissive, and lying. No one from management will call you. They will put you on a list to get the run around until you give up. Worst experience ever , I got a raw deal and have no way to rectify.

I had a job for these locksmiths I needed done right away, and not only did they complete the work quickly, but they were also incredibly professional throughout the process. Excellent service I highly recommend them!
