Don’t give these people your money! If you’re looking for mobile car key help please don’t go to these people! They lie! I called to ask about a key fob that needed programming. The person I got connected to said a mechanic would call me soon. Okay sounds good. Well ten minutes later, great turn around time, I got a call. The person who called was the mechanic. He said I’m 1 1/2 hours away, but I can do what you need. I said “great how much is it?” He said “I don’t know. Once I get there I have to call the company with all the information and they’ll give me the total.” So I asked for a round about. He repeated that he couldn’t tell me u til he called the company once he was here. I said okay “is there a fee for you coming out if you can’t program my new fob.” He ignored my question and said he’d be here in an hour and a half, but if I have questions to call the company. So I did and the people on the phone said , “I can connect you with the mechanic assigned to your job and he can give you pricing, but that isn’t something we give out.” I said okay and meanwhile talked to a mechanic that said he’d do it for 60 dollars if I could get my van towed to him 15 miles away (which AAA will cover the tow). The guy calls me again an hour later and says he’s twenty minutes out and my husband had answered this time and again asked for price and again he said it was up to the company. So he gets here in a beat up 2013 Toyota Corolla and takes a look at it and says he’ll send an invoice. We ask how much the invoice will be for. He says it will be $500 and my husband says “no thank you I have $200 to my name. I’ll just tow it and do it tomorrow for $60.” The guy who didn’t seem sober at all immediately goes “I drove long time.” My husband goes, “That’s why I asked for pricing.” He said, “Company doesn’t allow me to disclose over the phone.” So my husband says, “Well you should at least be able to say it’s (x) amount for me to even come look.” Then he goes, “I’ll do it for you $400.” We said no again so he then said he’ll do it for $300 and my husband said again we only have $200. So finally after 15 minutes of haggling the guy agrees. Absolutely ridiculous. Employee or contractor the man lied. The pricing was whatever he decided not up to the company otherwise he wouldn’t have gone from $500 to $200 dollars total in a span of 2 minutes because there would be a set price not haggling, and the company wouldn’t have told me to ask the mechanic because they didn’t know. This is shady business practice. I don’t know whether the company or the man was playing me. It’s all bad business.

And yes I’m sure you’re wondering why I couldn’t have just waited until tomorrow, but I literally couldn’t. Which is why I had no problem spending $200 instead of $60, I heard back from two other mechanics after he finished that offered to come do it tonight, one said $120 and the other guy said $150 (it was just already done by the time they called.). But still I would have paid the $200 without complaint for the fact that he did show up with in an hour forty five of my initial call. But to not tell me a price when I asked him for a round about price over the phone and then try to tell me you’ll do it and send an invoice when you’re done and once I push for a total tell me it’s ($500) $300-400 more than anyone else in the area is wrong especially if you’re making up a price.

When I say it was some twenty year old who could t stop itching and picking at himself. Literally couldn’t stand still. He didn’t come in a work/mechanic type vehicle he came in a Toyota Corolla with a little computer and no other tools.

When my husband said to him “dude the computer you’re using to do this only costs $400 on amazon and he agreed!”

These people hire liars and scammers!!!
