Very kind business owner. When he could have charged me an arm and a leg to come and get me into my car he suggested somewhere closer and cheaper. EVEN THOUGH HIS QUOTE WAS REASONABLY PRICED! Said locksmith survices would start at 89. Then tried to charge over 200 bucks for a simple pick. Lied saying it was a advanced lock even tho its a normal every day kwikset lock. Technician also didnt show up on time. Said hed be there in about half an hour and then showed up over a hour after i called. Not a fan of the wait or the pricing.

Terrible management of the kiosks. I went to kiosk, and it was out of service. Called the number, and was told a technician could only be sent out if a store manager called in. Why put a number on the screen that asks me to call then?
The person on the phone said to try the next nearest one (15minutes away) and guess what? That one was out too.

What the heck is going on? Isn’t there someone responsible to check these? Don’t pass the buck onto the store management or customers. MinuteKey should have technicians that regularly inspect the machines or incorporate some kind of software that alerts your company when a machine goes out. Wastes an hour of my day and having to spend the gas to go out of way for no reason is frustrating.

My understanding of emergency service is that they will answer the phone when called or at least return the call within the next 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes. As of right now an hour has past and nobody has called, if they happen to have the decency to call back and give some kind of excuse I’ll update the review, otherwise take this review as they never called back.

Called Chris due to an issue with my key not being able to turn my car on. He gave me at eta which he beat by 15 minutes. Great service, friendly, got everything done in a timely fashion. If you need assistance give him a call. Problem solved and a new key at a very reasonable price.

My 18-year-old son has a 2005 Toyota Highlander, which he is constantly losing his keys for. We tried going to a few Ace Hardware’s to have them cut keys, but they did not have the key in stock to be able to do so. We ended up going to Menards and used the Key Me kiosk. We ordered two keys and got a third one free and all three keys arrived around a week later and work perfectly for the vehicle. We are happy with this service. Our only complaint is that it is quite a bit more expensive than just having Ace Hardware cut a key for you.
