I had a terrible experience with this company. I needed a new lock or handles for my old lock. They said that my old lock is of very good quality and the same new one will cost very much. I replied that the lock works well without problems, it just looks terrible (especially the handles from the lock). I asked if they had any new handles suitable for this lock, but there were no handles available either. Then the seller asked for the key to the lock, took the lock and went to another room, and when he came back 5 minutes later, he said that I must pay 35 dollars for the fact that he adjusted it. However, I did not ask him to do anything with the lock, because it worked without problems. In general, I do not recommend this place to anyone!

The keys don’t work, and I’m disappointed. They don’t even fit into the keyhole of the lock they’re purported to open. I would like a refund.

I called them to help me get back into my garage. They quoted me 20 minutes. An hour later, someone from a completely different company called Pegasus Garage Door came out and charged me $250 bucks. He did not pick the lock as I requested, but instead picked the garage door (which I suspect is his specialty anyway).

After the dude left, I tried calling them back multiple times, and eventually my phone number got blocked. I can’t reach them anymore to figure out why they sent someone from a different company, or what their typical rate for a residential lockpicking is.

I’d avoid this place and hire someone reputable.

Was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. I spent nearly 700 dollars for a replacement key fob for my Volkswagen and they didn’t even give me the correct key. They gave me this cheap plastic one that not only doesn’t have a key blade, but lacks some buttons and functions the original has. It took them over a week to get the job done, first it was supposed to be the next day, then the day after, and on and on until they eventually did the job. The customer service people are liars as well, they told me they needed a deposit, then they’d do the job and give me a payment plan. Turns out the deposit isn’t even the deposit, so I eventually had to wait even longer so I could be able to pay the $700 full price. And this is the type of key I get. I paid $580 for this same service and not only did I get an ACTUAL Volkswagen key but they came and programmed it the same exact day the key arrived. I’m likely going to file a complaint with the ftc as this company basically scammed me. I would NOT recommend getting a key fob done with them.

Before I also used this KeyMe Locksmiths and the 3 copies I had won’t work. But when I send them (photo) what happened they issue a refund with no hassle at all. Yesterday September 2/25 I tried making one copyt to our new garage door knob and it works. Now I have to go back and make another 2 copies.

Fits the lock, but hard to get it to turn. I usually have to try 5-10 times. Seems to be getting worse. I liked the convenience, but it’s not worth it.
