My door handle and lock were completely shot. I called Phil and he was over within an hour. This guy is friendly and professional. He got the door open and was able to replace the handle and latch quickly. The whole process was easy and affordable. I highly recommend this gentleman and his business.

Was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. I spent nearly 700 dollars for a replacement key fob for my Volkswagen and they didn’t even give me the correct key. They gave me this cheap plastic one that not only doesn’t have a key blade, but lacks some buttons and functions the original has. It took them over a week to get the job done, first it was supposed to be the next day, then the day after, and on and on until they eventually did the job. The customer service people are liars as well, they told me they needed a deposit, then they’d do the job and give me a payment plan. Turns out the deposit isn’t even the deposit, so I eventually had to wait even longer so I could be able to pay the $700 full price. And this is the type of key I get. I paid $580 for this same service and not only did I get an ACTUAL Volkswagen key but they came and programmed it the same exact day the key arrived. I’m likely going to file a complaint with the ftc as this company basically scammed me. I would NOT recommend getting a key fob done with them.

I needed a new key made for my older Honda CR-V after losing mine, and I’m really glad I came here. I had my spare key with me and wanted to replace my lost key with one that has buttons. Before coming in, I called around to multiple locksmiths to compare prices and get a better understanding of what I needed.

I didn’t speak to Dominic on the phone, but he helped me in person today and was great to work with. D’arcy Hyundai lost my car and house keys. This is the locksmith to go to. Scott is such a knowledgeable person. I am glad this Lock Tech was able to assure me that I would have proper security. It’s been a couple nights and I’ve been able to sleep better. D’Arcy Hyundai still cannot find my car keys nor my house keys. D’Arcy Hyundai charged me for a key and fob replacement. I should have called Scott here at Plainfield Lock Techs, because it was cheaper to get 2 keys made AND programmed through him, than it was to get ONE KEY, nonprogrammed through D’Arcy Hyundai. I also had Plainfield Lock Techs rekey my house. I now live in my own fort Knox, thanks to D’Arcy Motors, for the push. As I would never have imagined I would spend $1,400 for a single lost key and programming, of which is not my fault. Will be reaching back next week when I have money to rekey this sentry safe.
