I needed a new key made for my car and I needed it quick. I was referred to Larry’s and he programmed a new key and had me out of there within just a few minutes. He is very affordable as well and super friendly! Highly recommend!!

Quinn came out today. He was here promptly at 11:00 a.m. (I was promised between 11:00-1:00). I lost my only remaining keyfob for my Ford SUV in November/2025. After searching for months for it in my home, I finally started calling for quotes.

While still expensive (what isn’t today?), two cut key/key fobs were $300 less than the quote I received from Gillespe Ford, the Ford Dealership around the corner from my home.

The keys are “aftermarket” and don’t have the Ford logo on them…no big deal. Quinn had them programmed quickly and showed me that both fobs did everything the original fobs did. He said they are guaranteed. If I have any problem accessing my vehicle with the fobs, they will fix the problem.

The master key Quinn was using to “cut” the actual keys broke, so he was only able to cut one key from the two fobs, but he was 100% honest and showed me the damaged master key. He advised that, if he tried to use it, it could break in the keyhole. He didn’t want to risk it. He’ll be back to cut the 2nd key at no charge once he has a replacement master. His honesty, friendliness, professionalism, and promptness were much appreciated. Five Star service today!

Was relatively easy to work with the machine. Good directions. But none of the keys work. I has three copies of a single padlock key made. The original works great but none of the new ones. I put the original in just the first time and never touched it again. Inconvenient because I live 30 miles from menards.

ABC Locksmith was wonderful!!! We had an emergency exit door in our facility that wouldn’t latch. Our general contractor had told us it would be a complicated and expensive fix. But when I contacted ABC Locksmith, they got a technician out within an hour, and it turned out to be a super simple fix. I would highly recommend them!!! They are fast, reasonable, and reliable.

Avoid if you have a choice!
Got locked out of our home last night. Called them…
1. The technician they assigned said he will get here in 1 hour. He got here 2.5 hours later!!
2. The guy was totally unskilled 🙂 Started work on the a basic lock to the garage. Worked on it for 45 minutes….said the lock is bad. Okaaay.
3. Then he went to front door…another 45 minutes. Says he can break the lock…asked are any of the locks non-standard? He said no…but he is unable to open it. He offered to break the lock instead!!
4. When I said I wont pay if he cant let me in…he went back to lock 1 that he had abandoned…this time I gave him 30 minutes more limit. He finally managed to open it nearly 2 hours into the ordeal
4. The invoice of $400+ shows up. It has a 10% sales tax about $40 (IL has no sales tax on service)…, and all manner of other fees. Regardless, we were exhausted…and its close to midnight — so paid him a check to avoid the $18 “card fee”.

Kicker: The lock he “opened” is now unusable — get randomly stuck. So overcharged, arrived atrociously late, unskilled, fumbled around for hours, overcharged!!
Update: Nobody contacted me. The uploaded picture shows the damage he did to the door, jamb and the lock. Incompetent and fraudulent…avoid!!!!
