I had several difficult-to-copy keys that other locksmith’s couldn’t copy or made copies that didn’t work. Chet’s lock shop made copies of all keys that all worked fine. They did it on the spot, quickly, for a lower price than other locksmiths whom I had approached. Definitely recommend Chet’s Lock Shop for all services and products related to locks!

My understanding of emergency service is that they will answer the phone when called or at least return the call within the next 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes. As of right now an hour has past and nobody has called, if they happen to have the decency to call back and give some kind of excuse I’ll update the review, otherwise take this review as they never called back.

We cannot say enough nice things about The Professional Locksmith! They gave us a fair estimate and surprised us with finishing the same day because they had the part in stock! Yeshai was a great technician and took the time to explain everything and waited patiently while we tested the new lock and our doorbell combo. Highly recommend!

If you are in need of a locksmith, I highly recommend Citadel Lock & Security in Oswego, IL. They are very friendly and extremely helpful. I had a very old Medeco lock that I needed some new keys cut. After some failed attempts due to the age of the lock, they were able to re-key it and modernize it at no additional cost. They are great people to work with.

I took in two key pad locks to have the override keys synched. They were done the next day and worked perfectly.
The person was considerate and explained when they were available and not. They do a lot of service calls but make the effort to be there at specific times.

D’arcy Hyundai lost my car and house keys. This is the locksmith to go to. Scott is such a knowledgeable person. I am glad this Lock Tech was able to assure me that I would have proper security. It’s been a couple nights and I’ve been able to sleep better. D’Arcy Hyundai still cannot find my car keys nor my house keys. D’Arcy Hyundai charged me for a key and fob replacement. I should have called Scott here at Plainfield Lock Techs, because it was cheaper to get 2 keys made AND programmed through him, than it was to get ONE KEY, nonprogrammed through D’Arcy Hyundai. I also had Plainfield Lock Techs rekey my house. I now live in my own fort Knox, thanks to D’Arcy Motors, for the push. As I would never have imagined I would spend $1,400 for a single lost key and programming, of which is not my fault. Will be reaching back next week when I have money to rekey this sentry safe. Drop to 5 locations and this locations was the only one that had my vats ignition switch key for 1996 Impala SS
