I had the pleasure of working with Dougs Lock and Key Service in Marion, Illinois, and I can’t say enough good things about them. I called them on a Monday (a day after a snowstorm) to install two new locks for my home. I was converting the property from an independent residence to a rental and needed the work done by Friday. Not only did they exceed my expectations, but they also made the whole process incredibly smooth and quick.

To my surprise, they showed up just 30 minutes after my call, despite the snowstorm that had dumped over a foot of snow. The technician was not only prompt but also professional and courteous, taking the time to have a pleasant conversation while getting the job done.

I was impressed with how quick and efficiently he worked. He had everything completed and my home ready to go five days ahead of schedule! The service was also reasonably priced.

Honestly, I wish all companies had customer service this good. They truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend them, and they’ve earned every bit of this five-star review!

Friendly and incredibly helpful! He remembered so many details about our commercial door that he had previously worked on and gave a lot of great advice on what options we have for locking the door that would be fire-safe. Highly recommend.

locked my keys in my car and a gentleman was on his way , we ended up being able to unlock it with a remote start device, this gentleman was so kind and understanding when we called him back after he was already on his way. definitely recommend and will keep info for the future! So sorry for the inconvenience and thank you again.

What a great place and service. If you need a key or a lock, they’ll probably have it or can get it. The place has some really interesting Erector Set steam locomotives you rarely see and other vintage door hardware. Bill is fantastic. Amanda is great too! Wonderful personal service that is all but lost today. I’m not from the area, but they treated me as though I was. I highly recommend them.

I needed two automotive blank keys cut for a newer vehicle. Called ahead of time to verify hours. Staff answered the phone right away and were friendly. I arrived about 10 min before close. I was in and out of there quickly with two keys that worked perfectly. Reasonable price and great service. Would recommend.
