A genuinely friendly and helpful guy came to my place. I needed a regular doorknob unlocked on my laundry door. He quoted me an outrageous price of $400. Seriously, that’s ridiculous! The doorknob wasn’t fancy; it was just a regular one that I bought from Home Depot for about $20. Initially, he had lowered the price to $150, but I’m still completely baffled by the situation.
